I'm not afraid of it. True Detective was good enough to warrant winning one way or the other.

They'd be in different categories, wouldn't they? The Emmys have always categorized American Horror Story as being a miniseries, due to it's format. Wouldn't that be the same for True Detective?

Probably would then, yeah, if that's how they do Horror Story. But if not, I still wouldn't be bothered. BB won a lot this last go around and got it's due, and True Detective was especially good. Win-win.

So if Aaron Paul is returning in Better Call Saul, who wants to bet it'll be in a post BrBa capacity? I do NOT want to see a prequel that takes place during Breaking Bad's timeline. That makes no sense to me.

I'd love a two timeline show. Prequel series with Saul being a lawyer and a post Felina show where Jesse tracks him down and they go on adventures. Like Lost, with the flashbacks. They can even work in Brock. The first episode could have the two on the run, Brock asks Jesse what they should do next and Jesse is all "better call Saul" BAM into the opening credits!

I imagine this will sweep the series acting awards and drama, and True Detective will win miniseries and MM. They can be in the same category for directing and writing though can't they? Good luck to whoever has to split them.
