I binge watched the f**k out of this show in a matter of 3 weeks. My goodness, what a masterpiece. Bryan Cranston was just amazing! The writing, the way the arcs connected, and all that good stuff were just amazing.

Oh, and Saul's the best! :D

Did as well, my fiance hadn't seen it so I told her she is missing out on some of the best television ever made, we now halfway through season 5.

For me its amazing watching this again, as the first time I watched it Walter was the main focus of the story, but now watching it for the second time, this story is just as much as about Jessie's journey as it is Walters.

The way I see it, in the end, Jesse deserved to live, Walter deserved to die.

Is it wrong that I actually didn't really hate Todd even though he was a complete nut?

You can hate or like whoever you want, but I have to be honest, I think that's the first time I've ever seen anyone who didn't hate Todd. Haha.

Todd was the best. He had great tastes in women and ice cream.

Plus, he was the only character to know how to properly shoot a gun.

Todd was horrendous but such a sweetie at being horrendous. Him picking dirt off of Lydia's back was the absolute worst and best thing all in one. Plus whoever first called him Meth Damon deserves huge praise.

My favorite scene was when Todd touched the lipstick stained cup Lydia was using to drink her tea.

I found him to be kind of a fascinating character. That he could be so nice and respectful and completely without conscious at the same. I've never seen a character quite like that before. Usually a sociopath/psychopath is obviously evil and crazy but not so with Todd. He's like the inverse of Jesse.

They really are a yin and yang type situation.

Jesse: Foul-mouthed, abrasive, rude pain in the ass, but also deeply sensitive and actually cares about people, particularly if he feels responsible for hurting them.
Todd: Polite, soft-spoken, helpful, and also completely and utterly soulless.

It's actually kind of surprising Todd had that kind of exterior, considering what the men in his family were like.

Did the first half of the season win, too, or was it excluded because of it being online-only?

I've got a bet with my buddy for $100 that BB sweeps every category they are in at the Emmys this year

Seems like a pretty dangerous bet, considering HBO has chosen to submit True Detective to be their competition. I don't know if I'd say TD will sweep either, I think there will be some give and take.

I loved True Detective, but I want BB to win as much as it can and whatever TD loses will be entirely HBO's fault.

True Detective not being up for best miniseries is dumb.

I really wouldn't bet on BB sweeping all the awards if it ends getting nominated. Mainly because it did for the last batch of episodes. I feel as if most will see it as already getting it's due. It's pretty rare for a show to capture everything back-to-back. Mad Men's four year Globe win is not a common thing, and even it didn't win all the other awards.

The emmy's has a habit of rewarding film actors when they are nominated. Mchonoghay could very well beat out cranston for best actor.
