I'm not certain that BB is guaranteed any kind of win if they get nods for season 5.2. If it had been winning consistently over the years, maybe I'd call it a guarantee, but I think it could be a 'it's due has been had' since it swept last year. Very few shows get that kind of back-to-back recognition (The Sopranos and Mad Men are really the only two I can think of off the top of my head) and while it's sort of the cool thing to call BB the greatest thing on Earth now, that attitude may not be as in vogue come Emmy time. I'm more than satisfied with the fact that it got a lot of awards, plus great ratings for it's finale. It'll be cool to get post-finish awards, but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't
This sounds horrible. I don't see how a prequel makes any less sense than this convoluted thing you just posted.
So if Aaron Paul is returning in Better Call Saul, who wants to bet it'll be in a post BrBa capacity? I do NOT want to see a prequel that takes place during Breaking Bad's timeline. That makes no sense to me.
I'd love a two timeline show. Prequel series with Saul being a lawyer and a post Felina show where Jesse tracks him down and they go on adventures. Like Lost, with the flashbacks. They can even work in Brock. The first episode could have the two on the run, Brock asks Jesse what they should do next and Jesse is all "better call Saul" BAM into the opening credits!
