Breaking Bad - Part 8

I'm not a huge fan of binge watching myself. I like to have time to appreciate episodes on their own. Binge watching tends to turn them all into one big blur sort of.

However I have nothing against people who binge watch themselves.

Binge watching is like anything else, it has its pros and cons. I like binge watching shows that are already finished for the most part but there are always plenty I binge watch just to get caught up and watch as they air from then on. Breaking Bad is one of the few I've been with since the first season though.

I've binge watched season 1-4 (right before Face Off aired) and it was a great experience. Then after the season ended, I went back and watched each episode again to see what i've missed from the first time and see the connections from the story even clearer. After that I listened to the breaking Bad podcasts and then the commentary/extras all before season 5A started.

Binge-watching is the best way to watch television.

Ever since I got Netflix many years ago, I binge watch TV shows all the time. I find it to be the way to go. I caught up on Lost right before the season finale aired, and that was probably the fist show I ever binged on.

I can't even tell you how many times I've re-watched Breaking Bad that way.

I had to binge watch Breaking Bad to get caught up in time for season 5. I like the show so much that I go through episodes again and again. Now for the rest of season 5 I have to wait like everybody else and that's frustrating!

I like to watch a series as it unfolds rather than on a binge.

I love to digest the material, revisit it, speculate, etc. then see how it all comes together.

So any last minute predictions for Rabid Dog? [BLACKOUT]Will Jesse start the fire? Will he change his mind and team up with Hank to take Walter down? What's going to happen with Todd and his Uncles?[/BLACKOUT]

I love binge watching, though I rarely have time for it these days. Its best to do it with friends. A buddy and I watched through LOST that way.

*****, I've got your restraining order right here. Restrain this!

Well with it being the rabid dog, someone's going to be put down or at least someone is going to want to put it down. ;)

The obvious choice would be Jesse as the Rabid Dog but chances are it refers to someone else too. Back in the episode Problem Dog I believe it was referencing Gale.

Walt's temper tantrums usually bring me the giggles. Hilarious scene.

I'm expecting a death. I don't know who, but I get the feeling someone bites the dust.

I agree. The one that really gets me is season one or two, I can't remember what was happening, but I just remember Walt screaming at Jesse, "Jesus!! Just grow some ****ing balls!"

I get the feeling [BLACKOUT]Jesse might be about to start the fire but Walt Jr. comes home perhaps. I don't know what to think about Todd and his uncles just yet, maybe they come in heavy in another episode.

too early..
I don't believe so, what have we got, 4/5 episodes left? I have a feeling that each episode is going to be stacked from here on in and reasonably speaking, I'm expecting the show to catch up to Walt's flashforward by at least the 2nd last episode.

That means you've got two episodes to cover Walt's fall from grace, and I don't want the **** hitting the entire fan in one episode. So with that in mind, I do think that it's realistic to expect a big death in Rabid Dog.

there wont be any death in the upcoming episode. we still have 5 episodes left. i expect things to escalate in the episodes "to'hajiilee" and "ozymandias"...with someone potentially dying...
the next episode will be a bridge to those two episodes, lead things to the escalation..

I'm dying to see how the events of his downfall will unfold. [BLACKOUT]Who will spill the beans and reveal Heisenberg's true identity to the world?[/BLACKOUT]

I don't think Jesse will die. I just don't see it happening. We need a balance, something to oppose Walt who we actually care about.

Not a bunch of random people that are just as much "bad guys" as everyone else. I want Hank to be a red herring with Walt's fall, if he is to get one up over someone then I want it to be Hank.

Jesse has been "breaking good" in my opinion. He needs to come out of this whole thing alive and with a fresh start on life.

I just don't see Jesse getting his revenge.
