Transformers Bumblebee Appreciation Thread

old friend? this is just how people are saying.

lets say that OP is like 3 milions years old. BB is milions years. this is still a lot years but still a lot younger then OP.

just sayint :oldrazz:
*sigh*

Just because Bumblebee doesn't act like he's a billion years old, doesn't mean he's some young punk. Jeez, it is possible for an older person to have youthful characteristics.

its possible. but IMO they always looks strange.

I just hope that with the huge success of the movie and with this being a IMAX extended cut of the film, that Paramount / Dreamworks puts some $$$ back into the film and finishes or extends the Robot battle scenes, key word HOPE :yay:

Hopefully, but i doubt it, this isnt exactly LOTR we are talking about here :cwink: .

Obviously we watched completely different movies. Bumblebee was awesome in my not so humble opinion and I love how he was updated for the movie. Cartoon Bumblebee was rather pathetic and always getting into trouble. In the movie, he could hold his own.

bay has nothing to do wit hthe story if i remember correctly.

spielberg was the producer and they hired writters then spielberg asked bay if he would direct it.

remember guys...when speilber is the producer it is basicly what he likes. if he wouldnt like how something in the movie then belive me that they would change it.

thats true he practically directed poltergiest ...but i wish he pushed the E.T -ishness on bumblbee more then the movie would have had somthing but otherwise it had great effects and lack of screentime and story time for the robots bumblbee had so much potential to be a great CLASSIC character from this movie especially how he could not talk ..that was so spielberg!! it made him more E.T more of a cute little pet but then he could fight and was tough (even if we see nothing of his fight with barricade)

I agree 100%, I loved BB! He was awesome in this film, I loved the fact that he was tough and could fight, even hurt in the final battle he still kept on fighting. The fact that he and Sam had such a strong bond was key to this film because I don't know anybody, who if they were in Sams place when the Army attacked BB that would not have done exactly the same thing and tried to free him, BB was great.

I agree, this Bumblebee was much better, he took a beating from Barricade but still managed to kick his ass, and then fought on in the final battle despite being heavily damaged, he was awesome.

Agreed again. I dont know how anyone couldnt like him, and as you said the bond between him and Sam was essential to the story.

Yeah the bond between BB and Sam is the main part of the story and I think will be essential to the follow up movies as well.

has anyone done a manip of movie bumble bee in red?

Well i think in order to make an awesome sequel they just have to give us more of what made the first movie so special, mainly the war, more of the robots and more of BB's bond with Sam AND Mikaela.

Classic Bumblebee transformation

Even though i loved all those transformations as a kid, i'm glad they updated them SO much.

You are right on both accounts, I am very happy they updated the Transformers and loved the new looks. I agree Aveit, to make a great sequel we will need to see more of the war, more of the growing bond between Sam, BB, and the rest of the Autobots, and lot's of kicka** action! :woot:

^Well yeah kickass action is a must, and with Bay hopefully at the helm, that is the least of my worries!

He will be back so we have no worries about the action part of the film, now it is just up to the story and the writing...:woot:

^Yeah that is my main worry, but if they concentrate on what made the first so good, i think we'll be ok.

And i hope Bumblebee gets a good, long fight this time. :woot:
