Yeah like Mill3r said, it'd be in the 40's. A month or two back one poster crunched the numbers and said that if you take out all of the pre-release votes, it was a 49. And that was back when the score was still in the lower 70's.

What kind of loser makes something like this?

They were both mediocre/poor movies. The only way you get those rankings is if a different person was directing.

I'm not so sure. I could very easily see it suffering from Watchmen Syndrome: an extremely good story in its own right, but pulled down by the negative effect it has on the industry afterwards.
