Objective means alignment with his subjective views. One that he likely made up before seeing it.
alot of folks use these forums to express their views and then some get into back and forth discussion on different points of view and then some downright want you to change your mind to see it their way. people are also influenced by what they see and hear before watching the movie (even if it's subconciously)
with all that said, people go to movie to be entertained. and the overall jist of it is that a good chunk of people that went to see it were not entertained and that's reflected in the huge drop offs in earnings and really bad word of mouth.
the negative reviews online (like RT and on youtube) came down like an avalanche. but it only did so b/c the movie disappointed alot of folks. not everyone are sheep where they are told whether to like the movie or not.
for DC not to listen to the critics would be absolutely idiotic and stubborn and shows that they really don't care about what the general public feels about their movies. and it will show in the next movie releases.
suicide squad has a box office superstar in will smith. for that alone, it will open big, but again, like BvS, it will have to be a good movie otherwise you will see more negative reviews out there.
Audience score down to 69%, and critic score has even dropped to 28%.

Wow. I figured the audience score would at least be in the lower 70's. That ain't good.

And it will keep dropping. Movie went from the 80's to the 60's in less than a month.
And what is more bitter irony? To see those words uttered by someone with the name J. Olson (don't eat me over it not being Olsen, I noticed the difference between the two).A momentum-less ode to uncreative people everywhere that torches two of pop culture's greatest characters and uses their ashes as its own personal urinal cake.

It's funny whenever anyone uses the word "objective" in film criticism.

It'd be interesting to see what other CBMs have as low of an audience rating.
It's tougher to compare lately since all of the recent movies have such inflated audience ratings (both the good and the bad) . I often wonder what kind of reception movies like Catwoman or Daredevil would get from fans if they released today, especially since a lot more people take ownership of these characters rather than just taking then for what they are. Rating these movies has become a turf war. BvS is the #3 superhero movie up to now on comicbook.com. There's no way in hell that this is an accurate representation of the fanbase.
This time, we agree with critics.Damn, this thread is still going? LOL!
And fans say "f*** the critics!"
Surely the fact that this thread is still going after so long proves otherwise?
Someone put this thing out of it's misery..

It was the #1 movie on CB.com shortly after it premiered. I'm sure that was entirely fueled by overreactive fanboys, as was the initial crazy high audience rating on RT.
