Wow, Storm looks better than I expected.

I dont like it very much...still dont like the hair, makes her head huge lol but i guess gives her a fierce and agressive look

Fierce and agressive are the two words I was looking for to describe this picture. I really like what they have done with her in the marketing for DOFP so far.

I still see bland movie Storm. no hate intented. Just... it looks like Halle being Halle, lol, and not the best version of herself, in terms of photoshots.

Yeah I kinda wish she was more fierce/serious in this but I'm not too fussed. I also think her hair looks the best in this because it is the closest to Halles natural look so we accept it more I do want the long hair to return at some point though.

The thing with the hair is that she's actually had this hairstyle in the comics, as opposed to her so-called soccer mom do from X2 (which I actually liked) and her weird-looking hair in TLS.

I wish she squinted her eyes a bit, so her eyes would be really intense. But over-all, she looks fierce!

I'm guessing it's her ability to become a conductor of energy and channel it through herself.

She's always had that power. From the Marvel wiki:

Energy Vision: With a blink, Storm can see the physical world around her as energy, including the human body's nervous system, which in turn allows her to counter all but the fastest attack. Added to her already formidable hand-to-hand abilities, this makes her a very tough opponent. Storm has also shown the ability to see in almost complete darkness.

I would probably assume that's just apart of her weather manipulation powers.

Whoa...where is that from?

Storm (Halle) doesn't look fierce here because her eyes are not white. We all have to admit that Halle Berry, though one of the most beautiful women on the planet, has a fairy Doe-like appearance. She looks most terrifying as Storm when the character is in her full form of fury. Otherwise, Storm has to be passive and calm in order to control the elements.

I'm not sure what you guys were expecting in terms of facial of expressions. Storm's biggest challenge is remaining serene at all times.

Oh, and one more thing: check out that verbiage: it states that she is one of the X-Men's most battle-tested and powerful members and will *lead* them into their toughest challenge.

So that should say something about her role in the dystopian future: she has retained her position as field leader in the wake of Cyclop's death and Xavier's sabbatical. And that makes sense since Bobby, Kitty, Colossus, etc., will have grown up many years at that point under her management; they'll be ready to follow her into battle against the Sentinels.
