But it's such a fun stereotype tho. Xd
Alright, it was a joke. Chill
Interesting Twitter trend right now. 'Halle Berry is 50' is more popular than The Lego Movie and Winter Olympics for some reason. She won't be 50 for another 2 years ha
50 and still hotter than them
The Lego Movie looks so bad. I've read some reviews and it says some of the jokes are targeted towards older viewers (a la Pixar) but to me it just looks cheesy as hell. How that thing is getting 96%, I will never know.
The Lego movie is near flawless, and defintely deserves that rating. I can't come up with one bad thing to say about it. Such a great creative film that should appeal to everyone.
I only bring it up as it was one of the trending topics on twitter that electrix posted.
You've seen it?
I just think it's a less creative Shrek & Family Guy (ie. referencing pop culture for the heck of it).
If you can't handle someone's opinion on something and can't contribute to the topic, save for a catty remark, you shouldn't participate in a forum.
Your opinion is obviously flawed if you never watched the movie... just saying.
Why would I want to watch a movie based on a trailer that I don't get the appeal of? Use your head jaymes. I know it's your schtick to be funny and say your one-liners ("Someone's bitter" quip)but it's tiring, IMO.
Don't tell me you've never lambasted the Twilight movies even though (I assume) you've never seen them. Or maybe you have. And you like them.
You mad huh?JK. But really I'm just saying even you admit that it is highly acclaimed so it might be just bad marketing. I watch films all the time that have terrible trailers. Use your imagination EnDz0n3.
Lego movie looks amazing. Embrace your inner child Endzone! That's like saying a Pixar movie looks stupid (besides Cars 2... Yikes), or Frozen! Blasphemy!
The Lego movie looks cute to me. I don't understand how anyone can think it looks bad.
I thought it looked good too. I was just giving him an example.
Plus Chris Pratt was just the perfect pick to play Emmit. Just hearing his voice makes me laugh. I can't wait to see him in the lead of Guardians.
Thats weird because she's not even 50.
But at least the community of Twitter, remembered her that it was enough for her to trend.
Yeah, it's really good. The humor is not really like Shrek Or Family Guy's style, maybe a scene or two but not as a whole. There's alot more things going on so it stands apart from other cartoons or CGI flicks pretty well. It does take advantage of it's world and well known characters with rapid fire jokes but thats a part of the fun. There's a great theme about individually and being creative, and the style of the animation leads itself to that as well. Everything works perfect through out imo, and even more so by the end. Most of all it's just really entertaining. Good stuff.
Gonna be tough for other animated flicks to match it this year.
Pixar movies do look good. Yea except Cars/2 Can't wait for Good Dinosaur.
But nah Lego Movie doesn't interest me so no need to sell it to me.
What are you guys talking about? Halle Berry is one of the most popular actresses. Everybody freaking knows who she is. Lol
I saw the trailer for the Lego movie in a cinema, and I hated it. Absolutely loathed everything about it.
So I won't be going to see the film. It just looked gimmicky and full of pop culture references to other properties, it looked like it hadn't got enough original content to support a good story of its own.
"Yeh well, how do you make a movie about coloured plastic bricks?' I hear some of you say.
"You don't bother" is my answer to that.
Is Storm featured in the Lego movie? I know she appears in the game...
^^ It looks like it's mostly DC/JLA characters. I don't remember seeing any Marvel characters on the trailer.
Finally, someone agrees. There's only one quote from Zoolander that fits this situation:
Now *that's* a funny movie.
I'm not gonna say the Lego movie is not a good movie, but if it has a 97% rating in Rotten Tomatoes, then it could be a really good movie.
But I'm not watching it in theater, I'm just not that interested in seeing things/people modeled from Lego toys. I'm not even playing the Lego videogames featuring the Marvel characters.
Well, good for DC and JLA. Lord knows they can't pull their s*** together for a live action film. At least they have Legos.
LS! Nothing but the painful truth :'(
