Call Of Duty: Black Ops - 2

The more I think about it the more I really like the campaign in this game. The overall story is probably the best in the COD series. Menendez is a really compelling villain and while the game still features the typical Hollywood blockbuster set-pieces, it's all pretty well grounded by a personal story.

Yeah, and the branching storylines give the campaign real replay value, which single-player has sorely been lacking in all previous COD games.

I'm excited for this game, but now I do not have enough money to buy it

Black Ops 1 was the First Call Of Duty game I cared about the story and the characters

I like Mason and I chose to believe the Masons of Red Faction series are His descendants

What do you get if you prestige.. any extra stuff?
Pretty sure you can get some token that allows you to either reset your leveling and weapons, gain a new custom class spot, or something else i forget

You can have a weapon for the rest of the time you play multiplayer, just like in MW3

So much for them trying to reduce camping in this game, that s**t is rampant.

I've hardly noticed any outright ridiculous camping that I usually notice in early stages of a COD game.

The ghost perk has changed things forever being the way it is.

They tinkered with the scoring system with the hopes of limiting campers chances of gaining a scorestreak. It's not really working too well.

The new Ghost isn't a good deterrent. People are still doing the camp in a room and booby trap the door routine. Now that you can customize to carry more tactical gear, it makes their lives easier.

Most of the guns are all ridiculously overpowered too. With that and the lousy maps, I don't know how long before I bail on this game. I'm pretty disappointed so far.

There's camping in every game. There is no more in this game than there is any other game

You obviously haven't investigated the game very deeply. Ghost no longer protects a player if they are staying still. It only shields you from enemy UAV's while you're on the move or planting/defusing an objective.

As for people staying still too long, there are weapon scopes that detect any enemy through walls if they are remaining motionless.

That's more than most games do to discourage camping.

I didn't know Ghost did that. Very fantastic idea

Yeah. And if anything, I find there are more people running around with Ballistic knives than there are campers.

Oh yeah. Half the time when people think others are camping they're actually not. They know an enemy is coming so they sit there and wait for them I don't consider that camping

Youve gotta stop and wait sometimes. Cant always run and gun

Run and gun is fun and all but doesn't help your k/d unless your playing FFA.... If you play TDM/Dom/Demo run and gun does nothing for you and as far as camping I've only seen it in Dom and TDM but they still do it not as heavily as before though

On a differentnote is it just me or is Sniping a lot harder in this game?

I actually had an easier time snipping this time around, but then I might've just gotten into a lucky couple of matches.

Nuketown 24/7 is gone after only one week. That's the only map that kept me going. I'm halfway through level 54 and I have never felt the need to stop playing more than right now. But i'm so close to the prestige achievement , it would be stupid to stop now.

What is the deal with that map?

anyone else supremely disappointed by zombies this time around?

the maps are tiny and lame besides tranzit...and tranzit is just a compilation of these maps. collecting parts and building things is stupid as well. also, the weapons available are pretty weak; not enough cool wonder weapons. very disappointed; i enjoyed the variety and size of the zombie maps in black ops 1 so much more.

i do like the black ops 2 multiplayer more, though.

I'm the rare guy that plays FPS's for their story. So this is still a solid purchase even if I never intend to play a single round of MP?
