First Avenger Captain America: The First Avenger DVD Thread

So anyone know what Target,Walmart,Kmart will be doing for this release?

I don't want to miss a special 19.99 deal.

Last time someone on the X-men First class forums alerted me to a Kmart special 2 day $19.99 sale on the blu-ray. I quickly drove to my Kmart and purchased it.

I know my local target has the bluray/dvd/digital copy combo pack for $19.99. Cheapest out of everyone else. Shame, I usually purchase movies at best buy, but if I can save $4, I will.

lol lastnight at midnight Myself and a lady were at Walmart looking for the DVD and it wasn't up front, we searched in the movie section nothing was out on the shelves but the stickers for it.
We were told to go look for the l;ady who sets up the displays and low and behold there it was! lol They came up with the display as we went to the back looking for it! lol

I completely missed the worlds fair tip of the hat too the Original Human Torch "The Synthetic Man" all dressed in red it the theaters. lol

Picked up the 3D Blu-ray of this awesome movie and will be watching it as soon as I can!!!:cap::awesome::up:

Picked up the dvd this morning. Just starting it now, no doubt the first of many times. :yay:

heh about as many times as we Thor fans watched. I'm up to 10 times at home with Thor :D

I have yet to buy any of the 3 Marvel films of this year since I'm broke but hopefully I'll get them for Christmas.

Well Walmart has a Thor AND Cap set Ked

Watching deleted scenes, why did they cut him asking about the war? That was important.

When I go pick my wife up after work we'll go to the store to buy a copy....I don't have a bluray player yet, but I'm contemplating picking up the bluray/regular DVD combo so that I can watch it now but have a bluray for when I do get a player.

The bluray/dvd combo pack was $19.96 at Walmart. I was going to try to price match to Target's price if I needed to, but luckily, I didn't.

Oh you lucky bastards...
I have to wait until December 15th. The DVD/BR isn't out here until then.

BUT...

if you notice VERY carefully at the giant screens...

THERE'S A T.V SPOT OF THOR!!!

yes there is!! you see for a split second thor throwing the hammer, title that says - in 3D and May 6. Hmm...

That's why I got the Thor like that. lol

I just picked up my copy of the film on Blu-Ray and it's still an amazing film. I plan to watch The solo Avengers film in the chronological order of the films that leads up to the Avengers .

Watching the special "Behind the Skull" feature if you hit the 9:01 mark there are a bunch of Marvel concept arts from Captain America to Sliver Surfer, but there is one particular concept art of a superhero that was blurred out on the wall.

Weird.

Who is that?

Character from an upcoming Marvel film, maybe Avengers?

He is definitely a superhero though.

P.S.
The one-shot "Funny thing happened on the way to Thor's Hammer" is (how do you say it...) Boss.
Someone on that forum mentioned it maybe Quasar or even Captain Marvel.

I see it!

That extended deleted scene between Rogers and Fury was great an should've been kept in the actual film .
