Look at the costume at the end of this, looks very "classic".

Im not sure if this is real or not, if it is and is not allowed here then mods please delete my post!

Its fake man. Some scenes were from some fan film. Others were from the 90s movie, Hellboy, Hulk, ironman, wolfman, and assorted clips from Evans other flicks.
The dead give away shoulda been the 20th Century Fox logo. Fox has nothing to do with Marvel Studio films.
this is all assuming of course that you didn't already know this.

I suppose i'll chime in and say i don't mind the "bulky" shoulder pads. they don't look stupid to me at all. the way i think of it: if you were in the army and given a choice of shoulder pads or not would you take them? when captain america holds his shield up whats exposed? his shoulder. not to mention those are the important muscles he uses to throw that shield. i see the shoulder pads as a bit of extra protection because caps a super soldier, not invincible or bulletproof.

those shoulder pads hinder his range of motion with his arms and offer no real protection against bullets so if I were offered I would have to say no.

source? i mean we have no info about his costume other than looks. howard stark is in the movie dont you think he could come up with sme material that could allow range of motion and protection?

I am going by looks. look back at the pic that was posted and ask yourself is he can raise his arms to make a T and then above his head so that his body makes an X and then straight up.
IMO I think he can make a T but I dont see him going above that...because he shoulders are strapped to his belt.
They could be bullet proof. I dont know but I would think that if they had the tech to make a lightweight bullet proof material they wouldnt just use it for his shoulders. I'd think the cowl would have been the first thing they'd make with it.

I doubt they're going to hinder his arm movements much...if the pads were made out of hard rubber maybe, but these look like padded cloth and that horizontal gray strap by his armpits is going to have some give to it.

The guy has to have his arms available to do gymnastics and throw that shield, they're not going to encase him in an immovable suit.

Someone on another forum said they thought the pads were going to look ugly and bunched up if he were to raise his shield above his head to do the iconic pose.

I don't really see that happening, I'm pretty sure the costume department and director would've looked at that to make sure it wouldn't look ridiculous.

personally i dont think material looks restrictive at all in fact it looks as though its purpose is to protect while allowing full motion, although we have yet to see an image of the back of his costume. my guess is that the material isnt exactly bulletproof. but offers protection from debris, ricochet, maybe even his own shield? (wouldnt want to accidentally bash yourself with it!)

its just my take on it. thats what it looks like to me...that its restrictive. not fully. but still restrictive

For all we know there's light plates of armor under the suit, the shouder pads specially and the chest. Plus There's gonna be some crazy acobatic stunts so i doubt the suit restricts motion specially when its cloth designed and will bend easily unlike rubber or plastic/fiberglass.

I see what you're saying, but to me the more modern concept art version looks more restrictive than the one in the photo. That one kind of looks like some kind of thick rubbery material, the one Chris is wearing just looks like medium heavy cloth.

But we shall see, maybe even a mere week from today! :awesome:

It's not real.

It's just curious that when I saw the first official pics of the costume I thought this same sentence.

Of course, I was wrong.
