If this is the 90's I wonder if we'll get a Coulson cameo.
I think the biggest issue would be scheduling. Is he busy filming a TV show?

I'm all for young Fury, Rhodey and Peggy Carter making appearances, but Coulson would just seem excessive, imo.

Eh... I am not sure Brie is in the position even with Oscar history to be THAT demanding.
Examples of who you mean, KRYPTON?You know what would be mind blowing?
Appearances by the MODERN versions of some characters or Avengers. If there is some kind of time travel shenanigans afoot in IW,
then maybe Carol's film will reflect that in some way? Also... Maybe that's how she does end up in today's world?

What if in the past 20 years she hasn't been anywhere... because she is dead. She heroically dies in the Skrull/Kree battle and it's [BLACKOUT]Thanos who mistakenly resurrects her with the Stones (only to regret it later when she kicks his ass because she's more powerful than him)[/BLACKOUT].[blackout] where has Carol been the past 20 years[/blackout]
My solution would solve the issue.Wow, that would be lovely. That would be really nice. But I know that Ryan Fleck and Anna BodenI think I know how this one got started because they did Mississippi Grind obviously, and I think theyre a great choice and a really interesting choice for that film.
When asked about the smile on his face, Mendelsohn humorously tried to deflect:
Well you see a smile because Im amused that people even bother to ask. Only because its one of those things, its sort of like being in the secret service for a moment. You can neither confirm nor deny It would be thrilling, Im sure.
I don't believe so, no.
With Ant-Man and The Wasp now in the can, Marvel Studios has begun work on Captain Marvel. The films production schedule and location have already undergone a few changes, including a move from Atlanta to Los Angeles, but the creative team working on the film recently convened for film prep and we expect the casting process has either already begun or will shortly because it seems there has been another shift in the production timeline.
We recently heard from a source that the studio is looking to fill out key roles of the cast sooner rather than later because they plan to film for one week, late in January. While we dont know which roles or what they will be shooting during that week, we have to wonder if the accelerated timeline is necessary to allow some members of the cast of Avengers 4 to join the shoot.
Additionally, while weve heard both January and February start dates for the film, we are told that full-time production on the film is now expected to begin in early March and conclude sometime in mid-July.
With the team coming together and this news reaching us, we would be shocked if we didnt start to see some more casting come together pretty quickly, especially with the holidays coming up. Captain Marvel is set to hit theaters March 8, 2019!
Jude Law is in negotiations to play the male lead opposite Brie Larson in Marvels Captain Marvel, sources tell Variety.
Ben Mendelsohn is on board to play the villain with Half Nelson helmers Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directing. Kevin Feige is producing.
Marvel had no comment.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet wrote the most recent script with Inside Out scribe Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman penning previous drafts, which follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot whose DNA is fused with that of an alien during an accident. The resulting alteration imbues her with the superpowers of strength, energy projection, and flight.
Laws exact role is currently unknown, other than the character being a mentor of sorts to Danvers as she tries to figure out her new powers.
At this years San Diego Comic-Con, Feige announced that the superhero film will be set in the 90s, before the Avengers ever thought of assembling, and Samuel L. Jackson is expected to reprise his role as Nick Fury.
The pic is expected to bow on March 8, 2019.
