Thoughts after a 3rd viewing:
1. After death, why does the Skrull sim victim's clothing not revert back?
2. Why does Yon-Rogg not have blue skin like the other Kree?
3. Why does Minn-Erva wear a mask on missions?
4. Does CM still have some kind of mix of human/Kree blood?
5. Will they explain why she didn't age between CM and EG? Did she ever visit earth again in between?
6. What hardened Fury so thoroughly between CM and Iron Man?
Unrelated, but...
If everyone calls him Fury, why does Hill yell, "Nick, Nick!" at the end of IW?
1. Not really sure what you mean. Depends on time of death and if it's mid transformation I guess?
2. Like humans, or any group of people, they have different shades of skin. Not all Kree have to be blue. Like the Skrulls, not all Skrulls have to be evil. But I'm sure there's a more thought out comic book explanation about Yon and others being caucasian that I'm not familiar with, lol.
3. Because it looks cool? Lol. Or for protection because the whole team wear masks, for any given reason. Minerva doesn't wear it later in the movie, like the rest of the team, so I didn't even think about it honestly.
4. I think so right?
5. I think they actually show it in the credits. I think it's hinted at she enters a worm hole or some kind of time band. Or the other side of the galaxy has a much much different sense of time. Think Interstellar, where on another world, every hour could be 7 years on earth. This would also impact how she responds to Fury's page, or multiple pages through out the years. Maybe she gets them all at once.
6. I don't necessarily think he's super hardened in Iron Man. He still cracks jokes form time to time, even in Avengers. Plus, aging can make us all a little bitter haha. Winter Soldier does more for furthering his hardening then the Iron Man films do IMO. But I like the mystery either way. I mean, the shock of dealing with aliens for your first time, and then becoming friends with some of them, and them leaving to basically never be heard from again, can cause major anxiety. Much like what Stark went through in Iron Man 3. Fury spending so many years searching for super humans, being endlessly frustrated and KNOWING there are threats out there beyond humans... that's a heavy load to carry on your mind for many years. And especially if he misses Carol as a true friend, that's also hard to deal with. Maybe Maria has since passed away and he couldn't contact Carol and Fury thinks she is gone forever.
I REALLY hope Endgame touches upon some of these factors, I hope Fury is somewhat bitter toward Carol even. Guh, I wish Captain Marvel wasn't connected to these MCU movies so these stories are given the proper time to be fleshed out. Oh well, lol.
