Last year was THE YEAR OF THE BAT{BATMAN/Bruce Wayne},THIS YEAR THE MAN OF STEEL RETURNS{SUPERMAN/Clark Kent} , Which means next year is The Year of The Amazon Warrior Princess{Wonder Woman/Diana} .

It looks like Warner Bros. are planing to do movies of THE BIG THREE first, BATMAN,SUPERMAN & WONDER WOMAN before they do movies of The rest of them (The Flash,Green Lantern,Aquaman & Martian Manhunter)

setting up the stage for a Justice league movie prehaps ?

A well concieved theory, but sadly unless Joss Whedon or David Goyer actually start moving on their respecitve projects I don't see either Wonder Woman or The Flash making it out in time for 2007. The window of opportunity for next year is closing very very soon.

it was just 2 years ago that everybody was saying w.b.s sucked, they were the totally wrong to handle superman.

i dont think theres any doubt given the respect their giving this film and character, that their the right studio to handle his movie future.

Wow....nothing gets past you does it?

Maybe its just because the WB is doing the usual mass marketing? I mean just maybe....

They did that when the Matrix sequels came out (Animatrix release, the video games, the cross promotion, special edition of the orginal)

Last year was the year of the bat cause Begins was out so they marketed again cause it was there blockbuster

Same this year with Superman

It will be Wonder woman's "Year" when the movie comes out, whether that is next year is trivial.

And no there isnt gonna be a Justice league movie...so calm ya panties

I doubt either of those movies have a change of coming out in 07. Whendon is still working on the WW script or has just finished.

I really want that Kirk Alan serial. I have the VHS series of it. I found it at Toys R Us for about 5 bucks, so I had to pick it up. Its pretty cool stuff, watching the old Superman like that. I hope the dvd has some extra little features and what not.

I would love to see a Justice Leauge movie. I don't think we'll ever get one, but it would be really nice to get some big epic 3 hour long film for the Justice Leauge. it would be very interesting.

Because were a crew from a jump whereas JLA was a constructed all-star team with major characters who have enough individuality to warrant there own film

Supa L is correct. If there was to be a Justice League you would have to have all four origin movies first and then join all the actors, who have become big names after their movies, into one movie. It wouldn't work.

I see everyone's point, and I understand, but if they can get Ocean's 11 (and a sequel to work), then color me optimistic!

Why not 3 sequals of all the major players (WW, Batman and Superman) and then a JLA movie with new cast members playing the leads. Most likely Brandon and Christian will be too old to play their respective characters (in 10 years, unless it's a Kingdom Come kind of scenario), and this way thier origins are established, and boom JL! Obviously, I mean for JL to be an "origins of" movie so a 40 year old Batman might not work. Do you see where I'm coming from?

You are definately talking a new cast, and if you are talking a new cast you are talking 15 years down the line. Anything is possible. I think it's more possible to see a Kingdom Superman or a Batman vs Superman storyline.

Y'mean on the main page? It's a QT Superman franchise trailer with a compilation of clips from all the Superman T.V. shows and the Reeve movies; played to the JW's theme. It's really well done!

Since you don't have QT you can't watch it, but maybe someone out there can host it on WM or something!

You are correct. Its like Showtime said as well, the actors now would just be too old then. I would love to see all the members together in one movie going after a huge threat, but we would have to have each one with an origin movie first. And that would take some major time. Oh well, maybe one day??
