^You have to admit though, they have made it a lot easier for Ock to come back than it would be for Brock.
Yeah, we did'nt see Doc Ock explode and a flash of his skeletont:
That would have been weird: a skeleton with four mechanical tentacles...talk about a wtf image!
Pumkin bombs are powerful bu to compleatly incenerate a symbiote and human body???
Ha ha yeah, it would have been. The last we saw of Ock he was just sinking, so it would be quite easy to bring him back.
Actually, if you recall the first Spider-Man movie, the Green Goblin threw a pumpkin bomb at the group of former board members and they incinerated - except for a skeleton. Pumpkin bombs are designed to do just that. They're powerful little devices.
I remember I always used to think he used different types of pumpkins bombs (one that incinerate, one that create big explosion, one that does little explosion, etc.).
And well...of course it would be easier to bring Ock back compared to Venom...but still, he's technically dead (sinking, eyes wide opens, his tentacles light going off and all of this just after he sunk a little sun that probably broiled him in the water...). I know the book is not the movie, but in the book it says he's dead; the tentacles call him for help and it said that "no one was there to answer them...".

And it nearly melted off the side of Harry's face. :P So, I think unless you possess super healing abilities similar to the Goblins, you're a goner.
And yes, you do see the skeleton - even on Blu Ray. There's apparently nothign much left of Brock or the symbiote... EXCEPT for that one sample of symbiote that Peter sent to Dr. Connors. It's probably still in his office.
So, it's possible that little sample could be used in future movies with another host... who knows?
I agree with that. It's more likely we'll see Ock than Brock. lol.
Goblins have various bombs, not all of them incinerate people, some simply blow up like regular bombs. Some even have razors with no bomb at all. It's the Goblin way is all.![]()
I can accept bombs that explode like regular bombs and bombs with Razor Bats inside, yes. But it's ludicrous to have a bomb that merely scarred Harry incinerate Eddie and the symbiote. Like I said, the movie Pumpkin Bombs properties change to fit what the whim of the writer is, not what they actually do. There's nothing you or anyone else can say or do to make me change my opinion.
Well, by this logic Harry should have been incinerated as well from the Green Goblin's Pumpkin bomb along with the board members. I think this is more of a case of the Pumpkin Bomb properties fitting what they wanted it to do, not what it's actually capable of doing.
It appears that GG2 made an improvement on one of them and made them explode and incinerate, as in the case of Venom/Brock's demise.
Gobby 1 had bombs that explode, incinerate, or had razor flying thingees.

Well the symbiote was in a weakened state at that point and one of its weaknesses is fire, sooooo yea...the bomb is powerful enough******ed thinking from Sam Raimi...I get a pumpkin bomb killing like three-four people at once, but there's no way it should be powerful enough to destroy the symbiote.
A very good point, in my opinion.Well the symbiote was in a weakened state at that point and one of its weaknesses is fire, sooooo yea...the bomb is powerful enough
It's out on DVD?![]()

What? where did you see that? That things dead and GONE forever...I just don't see how it could destroy the whole thing plus Eddie.
Even though we did see some burnt remaints of the symbiote slither down through a hole; but it just seems like Raimi over-reacted with one little bomb destroying it.
