Nathan and Peter are alive damnit!Totally possible for Nathan to get away,he's been shown to accelerate at high speeds,plus,Peter could have absorbed enough on the way up to fly himself and let Nathan get away.Not only that,the Petrellis were the best part of the show.t:

My guess is that the brothers use the explosion to their advantage.While everyone thinks they're dead,they use it as an opportunity to lay low,take part in random acts of heroism across the world,find out how Daddy died and most importantly try to get down to the bottom of why Mommy was so evil and her motivations and history.

Peter can obviously use more than one power, or he would of been dead by now. Hello being invisible and getting glass throw into the back of his head like 4 episodes ago? I think it's pretty safe to say that Peter and Claire can't die unless they get decapitated or something along those lines.

Tim Kring also said that some characters would find themselves in different parts of the globe and that the show would not be confined to just NYC.

He was kinda busy focusing on *not blowing up right then and there* to focus on another power. If he lost focus, and thought about flying, he might have just let go.

Basically people are arguing Peter's ability to use 2 powers at once.Nathan could have flown off and let Pete fly on his own,but Pete would then have to focus on flying,thus resulting in losing control of the bomb.

wow i just got home from my girlfriends watching the finale and idk what to think. i mean like peter better not be dead bc he's honestly the **** like neo but better acting.

jessica is gone, there goes ali larter's story. hopefully they find something for her bc she got hot i used to think she was ugly but this whole inner struggle/ hulkish story made her sexy.

parkman( forget his real name) is crying bc he'll be doing malibu's most wanted 2 my brotha instead of heroes season 2.

nathan would have been a bad ass bad guy hopefully he survived.

and takei is the japanese warrior. i remember him saying that he'll have a bigger role in season 2 on howard stern.( and that was really green grass back in the day in japan)

Hopefully we can see some extra bits in the deleted scenes section on the box set

I hope to god next season was as good as this season minus a few episodes
and hopefully they will have better pacing

can anyone explain to me by what they mean as to having 30 epsiodes combined?
isnt a season 22-24 episodes?

so what is it 15 of heroes generations and 15 of origins?

I think you're going to find it's a completely unexpected place you think that Nathan might end up after the choices that he makes at the end of the very last three minutes of the finale that have a lead to the story as to what's going to happen to him in Season 2.

When they started up with the love stuff, I started worrying that Peter was going to hug Sylar and make it all better.

So Hiro's father's power has something to do with being immortal after all, as some people here guessed. Pretty cool I suppose, it was also neat seeing the infamous symbol in his banner.

No way did Peter and Nathan die though, Peter could survive the explosion and Nathan could probably take off fast enough to get away from him in time, so there's a strong chance he survived.

Also, what's up with the cockroach at the end? It's everywhere Sylar goes, maybe it's one of his powers, he can live on in a roach... And I'm a little confused by something, in the end, did Sylar escape through the sewers or was that just blood running down a drain? I couldn't tell for sure.

it was a trail of blood that led to the sewers where Sylar escape. The roach was symbolic because it's hard to kill, like Sylar.

I think it's symbolism. People say that the only thing that could survive a nuclear explosion would be the roaches. So maybe it's forwshadowing that Sylar is still alive. He was definitely drug into the sewers by someone.

I think Sylar got Candice's power before meeting up with Peter and turned into cockroach in the end. and that Nathan did die and Sylar will take his place and pretend to be him, like in five year gone.

I'd like to see that. There's a chance Nathan would have to be almost unrecognizable though. No way he walks away with no facial or body burns.
