Some of West's lines are just awful and Claire's repeated lying to HRG makes her seem dense (though I see the whole 'teenager' aspect of it). It should be a good payoff when everything is revealed since HRG is lying about what he's been up to as well and I doubt West just happened to come encounter Claire.

I like Monica and her power reveal was pretty nice, even though you could see the robbery and the 619 coming from a mile away. I was looking forward to more of Peter's plot tonight, but the Group of 12 stuff was decent. As dense as I think Claire is, she doesn't even approach Maya's level of density. Alejandro is as good as dead.

Guess I was wrong about Sylar killing Alejandro. Guess it was Derek the carjackers bad day for Sylar to start hearing "ticking" sounds from his head. Not to mention having a cockroach check you out. Monica's power is pretty nifty, but it was would suck if once she memorized and action and then "replayed" the move, that she no longer knows how to do it. Anyway you look at it, it means hours of watching Wrestling, not to mention Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies. And we see all the 12, well maybe 11 of them. Nice call for whoever spotted that and guessed that the one taking the photo is the "hooded killer." And we learned a lot about Matt in this episode. Not only do we find out that his ex-wife was actually knocked up by his ex-partner, but that his dad is the one terrorizing Molly. Not a good day if you ask me. Also, who else believes it kind of amusing that Mr. Bennet is beginning to think that his own daughter will kill him if she starts dating boys?

lol. Yeah, that was the weirdest part of the episode...Noah talking to Claire about not dating and it was so overly dramatic.

I guess he's afraid of more mutant children running around the house..

Molly said she'd find Parkman's father or did Parkman keep pointing to his dad over and over again and pretty much ignore everybody else in the picture? The impression I got was he was freaking out about his dad even being in the picture while Molly was freaking out about the Nightmare man being in the picture. But hey, that's just me. I did after all miss the original shot of Parkman's dad. Only got to see Molly's response to the picture.

For now I'll just agree with everybody that the Nightmare Man really is Parkman's father and I'll just be pleasantly suprised if it turns out to be a curve ball or something.

but you are forgetting one important point: Molly walks out of her bedroom and tells Parkman that she'll find his father. when she does....it's the nightmare man. Parkman wasn't asking her to find the nightmare man; he was asking her to find his father. did you not see the end of the episode?

Not sure if it is important, but anyone else notice that there was a ticking sound in the background around when Sylar was talking to the driver? Artsy way of showing how Sylar thinks (watches), or something more?....

yes, it's important. it's an aural clue that Sylar is using his ability (seeing how something works) or getting ready to murder someone; it's similar to a character having theme music. he is the son of a clockmaker/repairer and that's what he did for a living as well when Dr. Suresh found him.

me too ...i think the main reason it seemed so powerful was because it was unexpected. I mean if some girl swung around a pole and drop kicked you outta nowhere you'd go flyin a bit

I think the big difference between Monica and Charlie's powers is that Monica can't just sit down with a book and read about how to do the things, she has to physically see it.

Savage summed up my thoughts for me pretty well. I think Matt's father is a red herring and when they find him, he may very well be dead at the hands of the Nightmare Man.
