Chapter 65 - Strange Attractors - 10/26/09

Everything about this episode was GREAT!!! the sexual chemistry bewteen claire and gretchen, the poetic irony of Matt actually becoming an alcoholic, Jeremy's story was so so sad too. Cant wait for monday! this season is shaping up to be the best since season 1

I like what they have done with Claire and how Skylar has taken Matt's body. I LOVED WHAT SAMUEL DID AT THE END! Teach those redknecks a lesson!

^agreed on all fronts. Claire is finally an interesting character, not just because she possibly a lesbian but because she seems more grown up. Shes now looking down on the girls screaming "OH MY GOD!" instead of being the girl screaming. I loved when she beat the siht out of the "kidnappers" lol. and gretchen seems much less abrasive compared to the first couple of episodes...

...THe building coming down in the end was EPIC! suprisingly good cg for a television show. and glad to see samuel be a little violent. Those rednecks had it coming, so u cant really classify it as an "evil" deed either.

p.s. Carnie-Sylar looked super goofy :oldrazz:

Agreed but don't you mean Nathan? I wonder what Skylar is gonna do with Matt's body?

syler/gabrial/nathan.... either way, Zachary Quintos in carnie gear made me LOL

LOL! Me as well.... but still, SYLAR IN MATT'S BODY? Sylar in the possession of the strongest Telepath in the Heroes universe! They have already said he was stronger than his father. Danger.

^ and remember that Sylar doesn't have the immediate control that peter tends to have... it takes him a while to figure stuff out. we could be in for some crazy stuff in the next few weeks. Maybe Sylar can't control whose mind he reads, like Matt when he first got his power.

I found the Gretchen/Claire tension to be most uncomfortable

i actually think that was the point....Claire was uncomfortable but at the same time infatuated, same with Gretchen....i think if the audience felt the same then the writers did their jobs properly.

Actually, he does. It is the other way around at the beginning. Sylar automatically knows how to use an ability after he obtains it. Part of his "power" knowing how things work. Peter had to be taught how to use his power by the invisible man.

^ aw man, i forgot all about that!

hhmm, i wonder if the invisible man was Samuels brother? and the black lady that led Nathan/Sylar to the carnival was his wife....add those together and you get samuel's invisi-***** niece :)

But what chaos is Sylar going to cause with Matt's powers. We saw what his father could do and peter/nathan's mom has already said Matt is stronger than his father. I am just sad they killed the speed demon.

^ daphne :(... and Elle :(... and Merideth :(... and Charlie :(... and Eden :(

Adam , Elle , and Daphne's deaths were all lame. They deserved better deaths.

Adam should have eventually died, except it should have been a more fitting ending further down the line. Probably in an epic battle with Hiro at a season finale. Maybe make it an ambiguous death so he could come back via his healing powers. Dying right after appearing in Volume 3 just so Arthur could be healed and be established as a big bad really sucked.

I personally think that they are writing Claire & Gretchen very well - it reminds me a lot of Willow and Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.....its very well paced and witty.

I think the whole college thing has just made her even more boring. please...kill her off.

No, it is a good chance to explore her personality. ANYWAY, she is one of the reason people watch. Hot teenager= viewers.

I like Claire and Gretchen too, and I'm not a big Claire fan by any stretch of the imagination. The last time I liked Claire was way back in Season 1, which was also the last time I felt she had some really good character development. I know most of people who dislike Claire don't agree, but I think Claire is actually written pretty well this season.

I agree
I think she's a lot more interesting and relatable right now
esp since she's not stuck in that damn "I jsut want to be a normal girl" loop she's been running since season 1
you're a freak, Claire, just get over it

I just find her too hot to dislike her . I like Gretchen and the invisible sorority chick trying to kill them off. I think it's been a decent storyline . Claire has just been around the last couple seasons though.
