Oh snap, Noah had some jungle fever back in the 80s.

Honestly this has been the best season so far and for the first time I feel Sylar has turned into a genuine hero. The season finale is going to BE AWESOME.

This episode = :sleepy:

Nothing good other than Peter and Sylars scenes.

That was a good episode, but I have a very strong feeling we're heading towards another disappointing finale. Too much to resolve in one hour.

I can bet you that Sylar become bad again.

I actually doubt it this time. The season is called Redemption after all.

But then again, Villains was supposed to be about the Villains and look how well that turned out for all of them. :awesome:

I don't know how people can call this the best season since season 1. I know people had issues with some directions the characters took in season 3 (Mohinder getting powers, H.R.G being responsible for Sylar), but at least something happened. The plot of this season didn't reveal itself until like last episode. So we've gone 16 episodes without knowing what would happen at the end. I know you can't know everything, but there weren't even clues. One of the best parts of seasons 1 and 2 was that you knew what was going to happen, but you didn't know how. Some of my favorite scenes were the holy S#!* moments when Issac's paintings came to life. This season has just been a bunch of people talking about how the carnival is bad.

Here's my opinion about Sylar. Zachary Quinto made some statements that I think might have to do with Heroes...
That being said, as of this episode, I like where it's going. I have a strong feeling Sylar will die. He gave an interview this week saying that he was going to get out of Star Trek and Science Fiction for a couple years, until the new Star Trek movie starts filming. I don't know about you guys, but I'd call Heroes science fiction. The volume is called Redemption and dying a hero is probably the best way to deal with that. Also, his natural plotline ended like 2 seasons ago...

The painting thing got old fast and it didn't even make sense in Season 2 at all no matter how you look at it. Even if Issac could paint alternate realities then how did no one spot those paintings back in S1? You would think HRG getting shot in the face would catch someone's eye. Instead the people only spotted the paintings that were convenient for the plot. Thank god none of the characters spotted the S2 paintings or else they would have been extremely confused if the explosion future happened and none of those paintings came true. In S1 the paintings were an original concept and that's what made it so intriguing. But the novelty wore off quickly, and I got completely sick of the paintings by Season 3. When Matt got African Issac's power I just wanted to throw a chair at the tv. I'm extremely glad now we actually have no idea what's coming up. It's a breath of fresh air for me when it comes to this series.

And that goes back to the main reason main reason I dislike 2 and 3: they are complete and total rehashes or Season 1 except they're all inferior in every way. The mandatory flashback episode is inferior. The mandatory dark future episode is inferior. Etcetera, etcetera. At least S4 is trying something different instead of giving a lamer version of Season 1.

We need a happy medium. While I don't want a rehash, I don't think it's naive to think that they can do something new with it being still interesting. Yeah, cool they did something new, but while trying to do something new, they forgot about the plot. I can't be the only person who had no clue where this was going until like last week. There's a fine line between being unpredictable and having no focus. Heroes is on the later side.

Pretty good episode. I thought HRG's squeeze called Tracy. Where the hell is she?

The episode was okay. It was more of a fill-in type of show. It didn't really build up the finale like previous seasons and the only interesting scenes were Peter/Sylar trying to escape. I'm kind of tired of HRG and Claire's relationship. It drags on and gets old.

Felt like this episode was stretched out from what could have easily been a half hour or less into a 48-50 minute episode.

I'm hoping something happens to Sylar. Letting Mr. Superbad Villain keep all his powers and go "Good Guy" while letting Peter still be limited by his "One Power at a Time" Ability is pure shenanigans.

I cant wait to see Peter and Sylar vs Multiple Man guy. They better deliver.

Like Neptune said, I was waiting for Tracy to show up. I really like her.

It would have been good if theyd have shown us where the rest of the characters were, so we'd know how the finale would plan out. I dont remember where Hiro etc. are and i dont see how they fit into the plot.

I would also have liked a little build up to Emma. She is supposed to be the one to cause the ultimate event but we hardly saw her this ep.

Only question now is who's available to take down Samual?

I stand by my prediction that Sylar is going to be the one to take him down and he'll die in the process. Having that Redemption that is in the title of the Volume. Although there goes my hope for a final Peter/Sylar showdown. They're two sides of the same coin and thematically their fight would make good television. Although, Peter would never kill anyone, so it wouldn't truly be a final battle.

I liked this episode.
As far as the finale goes, my thoughts are that honestly, it looks like Sylar might save the day after all. I just hope they do it well, and that he dies while doing so. Judging from the preview, I'd say Peter and Sylar eff Eli up right quick (hopefully they kill him, I wanna see that dude die) and they make their way to the carnival. As Sylar is whooping Doyle's butt we get the exchange from the preview ('You're one of us..' to which Sylar replies 'No...I'm a hero.'), Sylar does something cool and kills Samuel and himself, and Peter takes over as the leader of the carnival, and they live happily ever after...
I'm guessing we don't get another season, but I'd watch it if we did.
And I do think this has been the best season since the first. Lots of build-up and tension, let's just hope it pays off.

Maybe Tracey can soak the soil their in or something

ZOMG!! An episode of Heroes I actually liked!! :)

Fantastic episode! I definitely think this is the best season since season 1. ;) I loved the Peter/Sylar stuff and seeing even MORE of HRG's past! That guy is the home for secrets!

I think this may have been one of the best episodes of the season but overall the seaosn has been boring as ****.

Episode was ok only becuase we saw HRG's past but that freakin Claire f'ed it up again with her nonstop whining! :argh: ANyone know the ratings for this show? Can't be to high becuase there's only like 20 freakin post in this thread. Compared to 2 years ago when this thread would be on it's 5th page by now.

The ratings of "The Wall" was 4.4 million.

4.4 million?!?! Are you serious?! In the first season they use to get 16 million viewers almost every episode. Good lawd has this show fallen!! I don't even know how. I think if they stopped focusing on Claire and started to make it more about Peter or Sylar, maybe they might get some of those viewers back. But as of now, it's always about Claire and her whiny ways. Bah! I'm getting pissed off again.......:cmad:

Has anyone noticed the most common power that was used in the past was sesimic blast/waves. Seriously kill Claire she is a useless plot device/characther.
