I'd kill too see a younger dark Scott with a tragic past haunting him. Jean Grey and Storm would be nice too. Dazzler would fit so well into the 80's but she could be hard to get right on screen.

Can you imagine a team of Xavier, Beast, Jean, Cyclops, Storm battling in apocalyptic settings. The prospects are very exciting.

So that would mean a great 70's feel team like this:

a 6 mutants team with great and different powers. with the exception of Summers brothers, but that would be a great subplot and dynamics

I feel like all of them are all but confirmed. If they want a fifth member it'd be awesome to have any number of characters. Gambit or Psylocke would be ideal.

Since Storm is taking Angel's (the real Angel not Lenny Kravitz Jr Angel) spot as the "flyer" I think it would be nice if they have someone that was similar to Iceman. By that I mean immature, jokester, with similar or close enough powers. No one really comes to mind right now.

As a Gambit fan I wouldn't be opposed to that, but the big thing about Iceman on the team was he was the most immature and least experienced. I feel like if it was a Kitsch casting or someone of that age (Tatum according to Lauren-Shuller) we would lose that dynamic on the team. For one thing he would have to act like the adult. Though I guess they can recreate the Adult Gambit, youngster Ororo dynamic.

Hmmm...can you imagine a Northstar Original 5 membership. Heads will roll. LOL

Well, technically Beast would be the adult. Hank would be around 40.

Of course, that fits his personality.

Though that makes me wonder what they'll do to McAvoy and Fassbender. I'm sure making one bald, and the other grey would be enough to make them look older. And less time in the makeup trailer...

I think we can can add Nightcrawler in the team .
The character was important in X2 and it allows to continue the story with Mystique. In addition, I really love his relationship with Storm in X2.

None on the team knew who Nightcrawler was in X2. Especially not Xavier. Unless you're suggesting that time travel changed all that.

That's the thing too. We already have an adult on the team in Beast. I'm not sure how having another adult on the team would be. Though that could certainly add another drama to the team, the two "adults" butting heads.

I've viewed Storm as filling in for both Angel (flight) and Iceman (similar elemental powers).

But as for a fifth member, in terms of powers, maybe they could go with fire rather than ice and have Sunfire fill that Iceman role, and with a personality overhaul he could be the jokester of the team.

That's cool. I never thought of it that way, but yea sounds plausible.

But as for a fifth member, in terms of powers, maybe they could go with fire rather than ice and have Sunfire fill that Iceman role, and with a personality overhaul he could be the jokester of the team.

Could be a nice role reversal: Cold to hot. But not a fan of making him a jokester, when Shiro was known for being a jerk. I do like that one of the O5 could be a minority (other than Storm).

That said I'm actually warming up to my idea of Northstar. Though he was also kind of a jerk!

It also fits with him being a placeholder for Iceman, since it's long been speculated by some fans that Bobby Drake was pitching for the other team.

There would be a lot of jumping around there. First they would have to say that she turned good off-screen after joining Shaw in his world domination plans ("Beautiful isn't it?"). Second she'd be significantly older than the teenaged X-men.

There Is no evidance that wolverine will kill Stryker In DOFP.Wolverine will have to get his admanturm somehow because some are kidding themselves if they think Wolverine won't be In X-Men films anymore

Now if they want Blob as part of brotherhood In APocalypse they could do that.
