Sabretooth killed Blob in 1987, and we're back to 1973.
Now since 1973 we have new events, if Stryker dies in 1973, there is no Team X. Blob can join Brotherhood, Avalanche can do it too.

Okay so for me I would like

Emma (I think Emma would be an interesting addition to the team. 1. The x-men have no heavy hitters at this point and Emma's diamond form can accomodate that. 2. it would be funny to see Cyclops have a bit of a crush on her and Jean get a bit jealous. Think of the psychic *****ery haha. Just do something where she joins for her own gain "her school is destroyed" and then have her stay.

I was thinking polaris and Havok but thinking about it, I want Cyc to get his day and Havoks powers look so similar in the film that I dunno, perhaps it could work if cyc lays down the law and we know they are brothers but they dont

Polaris doesnt interest me that much, I really like her as a character but I have seen enough magnetic powers in every x-film so to me adding another would be overkill.

4 horsemen: 1. Xavier 2.Mystique 3. Magneto 4.Sinister (who gets away and is then the villain in xforce)

It would allow cyc to step up and lead the team but again my issue is that we will be having inexperienced kids going up against apoc (the most dangerous villain yet).

There Is no evidance that wolverine will kill Stryker In DOFP.Wolverine will have to get his admanturm somehow because some are kidding themselves if they think Wolverine won't be In X-Men films anymore

We don't know where Logan end in 1973 now, will he back to Vietnam or not.
Have to wait and see it in DOFP, maybe in Wolverine 3 we will see new way he got his claws, not being in Team X.

Then either Empire or the filmmakers got their dates REALLY wrong. Since the Wolverine/Sabretooth/Barakapool fight apparently caused the Three-Mile Island Incident (which happened in 1979) and that was AFTER Sabretooth killed Blob. Given that the filmmakers apparently had no idea when the Northwest Territories were actually formed (two minute Google search guys), I'm willing to bet that it was probably them.

Geez Wolverine and the mutants didn't cause the 3-mile island incident. That incident already happened before they got there. And the island was used by Stryker for his studies on mutants.

If Apocalypse Is set entirely In 1980's you won't see Rogue In film.

Time travel doesn't cause Rogue's birth to go from around 1988-based on being 17 In 2005 set X-Men to around 1970

It does very much sound the idea for apocalypse is to be more origin or prequel then anything else

Singer said he was very excited about the idea of giving characters a back story because he had worked it out a long time ago and it was something he couldn't do for X1 and X2

I wouldnt mind it purely because we havent had it where there is a physical fight between mutant vs mutant too much where there is a risk of killing their friends. X2 had the brief cyc vs jean thing and x3 had nobody actually fight jean. so I would kinda like to see say an OT storm or Xavier have to be attacked by younger versions... I say xavier because I have this image of x-men evolution in my head and how cool it would be to see patrick actually get involved in a fight.

Perhaps even have Rogue as a horseman which is how she gets flight and super strength as I am assuming that is the powerset people want the most on screen.

Ok. I've decided on my personal cast for the film.

Dylan O'Brien (Teen Wolf, 22) as Cyclops
Emma Watson (Harry Potter, 23) as Jean
Lupita Nyong'o (12 years a Slave, 31) as Storm
Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time, 18) as Nightcrawler



Dylan O'Brien is one of the best young actors out there right now. He's amazing. Since I believe Cyclops will have a big role in XM:A, i want a good actor playing him. Plus, he looks like he could pass as a young James Marsden.

Emma Watson. Crazy, I know. I tried thinking more unknown like I know they'll go, but she's great AND fits the bill age and looks wise. So, why not? She'd probably be costly, but I think after DoFP Fox will be able to afford her.

Lupita Nyong'o. Like Jean, I initially tried to look for someone more unknown. But **** it. She's perfect for Storm. I know she looks nothing like Berry, but I just don't care. She may be 31, but she can easily look the same age as the others.

Robbie Kay. This kid was amazing on ONCE. He's not any sort of name, so there wont be any problem getting him in the make up. I think he could bring many different colors to the furry elf. Not just the religious side, but the fun goofy side as well.


These four would be joined by Nick Hoult as Beast and possibly Taylor Kistch as Gambit.



EDIT: I just realized with a young Storm/Nightcrawler they could finally play up that love angle they hinted at in X2.

Apocalypse's appearance would lead Xavier to recruit new members to combat him...kind of a nod to Deadly Genesis...he's current active team would be:Beast, Banshee and introducing, Thunderbird but have to recruit Cyclops, Jean and Storm.

Gambit would have shady ties to Apocalypse's forces but defect and free a young Nightcrawler in the process.

As I said in another thread, this movie sounds like a standalone, maybe better to go with a "throw away group" than with the Horsemen as A's henchmen. I'd choose the Alliance of Evil to be A's team for this movie.
