We don't need Angel. His powers manifested in 1997, when he was just a teen. He's out of the continuity picture, along with Colossus, Rogue, Shadowcat.

Which is a shame because Archangel's awesome. Visually, he's 1 of the most impressive and just imagine the action scenes they could do with him.

You can't give Quicksilver an expanded part and explore Magneto being his father and NOT have Wanda as well. That would be a gigantic waste.

Do Fox have the rights to use Cable or not in this series?

Apparently they do.

Fox owns all of the X-Men characters. X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, New Mutants, Excalibur, Generation X, Deadpool, all of the villains. I wouldn't be surprised if they had Alpha Flight and the Shi'ar as well.

all of which can play a roll except BLINK in the new 1980's film version.

Being that a rumor is that Blink is back has me confused.

Origins had some pretty good casting. Schreiber/Sabretooth, Kitsch/Gambit, Durand/Blob and, of course, Reynolds/Deadpool. I'd like all of them to come back. 1 isn't, obviously, but there's still hope for the rest.

The movie makes it pretty obvious it's going to be the "new" original x-men, cyclops, storm, and jean. Jennifer Lawrence is still big so mystique, quicksilver was a big hit so he's coming back, and of course wolverine.

I agree, we will get Cyclops, Storm, and Jean in Apocalypse. Obviously Magneto and Mystique will be in it, also. Likely Beast, too. We don't currently know if Gambit will be X-Man or start as a Horseman. They also have mentioned Nightcrawler, so I imagine he is in it. I'd like Quicksilver to come back. Wolverine, to be debated.

It is interesting to imagine who else we may see. Either as X-Man, Brotherhood, or Horseman.

I am curious about the 4 mutants at the start of DOFP, havok,toad ect ect, they were seen watching the tv showing magneto during the film and I ain't sure if that was meant to mean something or they just wanted to show mutants were watching

Young Mystique.
Young Beast.
Wolverine.
Gambit.
Quicksilver.
Young Jean (according to Bryan Singer).
Young Cyclops (according to Bryan Singer).
Young Storm (according to Bryan Singer).
And of course Apocalypse himself.

Just because these things weren't stated, it doesn't mean that they're not the case. I think they will def come out and show Nightcrawler being Mystique's son. Whether they approach Pietro being related to Magneto or not has yet to be seen I believe.
