Civil War #3 prediction

First the destruction of Spider-man, next the entire Marvel Universe! No one will be safe! F4 splits up, Spidey and Iron Man go Brokeback Mountain (you know it's coming), Cap is killed, Punisher no longer kills his enemies, but becomes a pyschologist to help villians discuss their feelings and reform, Luke Cage will kill Jessica Jones and the baby because he realize marriage isn't cool and only makes you less reader friendly, Wolverine will now appear in every book just because, Scott will start sleeping with every female X-Man, etc....

This was hilarious. Wolverine dose pretty much appear in every book just because already.

I heard a rumour that a member of the FF was getting killed off, maybe thats the big shock for #3?

:unishr:

It was probably the FF issue
where Sue gets killed and Johnny uses the Time Platform to go to the past and save her. The Sue of the 616 universe doesn't die because this alternate Johnny saves her.

the solicits say a hero will fall, and mention a funeral, I hope to goodness that Cap isn't going to die..that would be just wrong!

My guess is that both sides will battle and one of the YAs will fall (probably wiccan bc of resentment for wanda) and cap will get arrested. This will start will be a huge moment and some of the pro SHRA heroes will change sides (sue, she hulk and eventually spidey). Personally, don't really see the Pro SHRA could deal with the death of another hero regardless of what side they were on.

Agreed

But i do think something between Sue and Reed is going happen with the christmas card list discussion they had. Oh and how do i do spoiler tags??

WHAT???
I know that Johny Storm is in the hospital but it isn't something serious
or another member.... still NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well in Wizard they said that two members of the FF were being replaced after Civil War. Johny is in a coma and we all know that there is a death coming up in issue 3 of Civil War. The rumours are that Sue is going to be killed when they find out she is helping the resisitance. But then again, judging by the cover of an upcoming Fantastic Four issue, it may well be the Thing thats leaving.

Like this: [ spoiler]Whatever you're spoiling[ /spoiler]
Of course, without the space between the bracket and the first letter.

At Marvel.com their solicits pages show a Fantastic Four: A Death In the Family. Don't know if its a ruse or not, but the information about Sue dying in a future issue related to Civil War has been on Marvel's site for a while now.

Well, it's for the best if Sue dies, no Marvel character should be married, it ages them and makes them unrelatable. Sue will die, Doom will steal the kids and Reed will be able to play the field, that first family garbage was so '60s, it's 2006, we need a swingin' bachelor Reed Richards. Reed and Tony can go out, get drunk and pick up chicks!

No, after thinking about it, I'm all for the New New Marvel, it's gonna be great. Do away with villians, just hero vs. hero. Undo all marriages, have all the kids vanish or just send them off to the future where they can age, then bring them back, they'll be older or the same age as their parents by this point, making them relatable to the audience. Do away with all the core values and characteristics of goody-two shoes heroes, if they don't go along with that, make the "evil" heroes, that the "real" heroes will hunt down in summer miniseries. Of course don't let this affect the actual books, they'll have their own big "event" stories going on at the time, Marvel can publish fall/winter miniseries dealing with the afteraffects of the summer miniseries.

Sad. They can't can't get laid, so he takes it out on his characters.

Yea Doc,that's so it.

For #3...

Thor comes back.
Sentry and Spider-Woman's stances will hopefully be addressed.
First major battle.
More insight on #42.
Reed and Sue drifting farther apart.

I hope it's the thing that leaves. Sue dying and reed continuing to fight wouldn't make much sense, after all he'd be not only widowed, but a single parent. I looked like ben was conflicted in that scene where he was with the kids. I'd say he does join pro SHRA but after the battle, says the hell with this and walks away.

it's already been confirmed that thor's making his return in #3.

I want Thor to come back and beat the **** out of Iron Man and Spider-Man for being so ****ing stupid. Especially Spider-Man. Way to sell out your family.
Dick. :down
But seriously, if Millar breaks up Reed and Sue... I don't know. I don't see the point. The FF are the original superteam, with Reed and Sue at the center. What does breaking them up accomplish?

Damn Thor and Hercules on the resistents side, what if they get Sentry to back them up too?

if the sentry is for the registration, i think i'll cry foul. that just makes NO sense. i mean, c'mon. if there's one person that wants his identity kept private, it's him.

Sell out, his family is who convinced him to do it.

When?
Was it in this issue?
Either way it's a ****ing stupid move.

This would explain the front cover of a fourthcoming Ironman book. It has Sentry about to fight Iron man. I cant see Tony lasting that long against the power of a million exploding suns. Unless its the 'doppleganger' version of Sentry we have seen in the New Avengers. :)

but at the same time he understands, more than anybody, the need for control. he's like a constant reminder of what can happen if a hero goes bad.
