I can't see his style / tone working for Batman. It's TOO far from the Nolan style IMO.

When I say we need to grow from the Nolan stuff, we need to keep it as a base. Abrams' style, IMHO, is it's own thing. I think Abrams is PERFECT for someone like Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, etc. But not Batman.

Mission Impossible 3 had the exact same kind of pulse pounding urgency that a Batman movie should have.

Not to mention humor that was nearly identical to the BB and TDK style of humor.
