Is she supposed to be noseless? Because if so theres not much wrong with the art, it's a lot better than some of the stuff I see being put out in mainstream comics.

The frakin flag pole isnt even resting on his shoulder,..Hes just sorta holding it like a javelin.
I just dont understand what he was trying to go for here.If it was caricature ,then wheres the kitchy/sillyness? If he was going for stoic Americana= Epic fail.
