I do. Not in Nolan's version but in the next version, I'm all for Robin, Giant Penny, T-Rex, etc. I want Morrison's Batman after Nolan's, because it celebrates the entire history of the character from the comics and the films too.

Bane is a great villain . I don't get the hate. Knightfall is better than the crap Morrison is doing.

Agreed. Morrison has done some fine stuff, but he's also done some embarrassing stuff.

With the current climate of high popularity for superhero movies, Green Lantern has a solid foot hold for success. The only trick is to make a good movie that has a chance to achieve success.

You're preaching to the converted about the ease in which Catwoman can work in this movie. There are a couple of people who can't fathom how a a sexy woman in a skin tight cat suit could be on screen next to a guy in a cape and a pointy eared cowl!

But just because a character is popular and well known doesn't mean they are going to be instantly successful in a movie as history as proven time and again.

My only real concern is that Hathaway is too . . . dainty . . . to be a fierce warrior like Catwoman. But I have enough faith in Nolan not to be too concerned even over that.

Some 'wishful thinkings' that I have include fixing BatBale's voice, and also letting him pump a bit more iron again. I liked strong Bale in BB much better than skinny Bale in TDK.

I can't help but think of Bane's transformation in Batman & Robin.

No concerns. After the masterpiece that was Inception. I have complete faith in Nolan. This is the movie that will be the conclusion of the trilogy, like Return of the Jedi. Storyline wise, I see this as the film where Batman clears his name and people see the need for him. Bane makes sense as he representsthe anti-batman, a false hero the corrupt establishment of politicians, mobsters lawmen embraces to break the Bat and support him in that quest. In the Nolanverse he'll be cerebral, manipulative and using his brains more than his brawn.

Selina to me in this movie is going to be a woman who is inspired by the bat. She's going to be a gray area, doing bad things towards a good end. I believe she'll be the first to see through Bane, and that's going to make her a threat to him. It'll also make an incentive for Bruce to overcome if he does like I believe get his back broken in the second or first act.


The way I see it this one's going to be a thinking person's movie; very complex and very thought provoking. With this final movie will come to understand why Gotham NEEDS a Batman.

In the end the Dark Knight Rises and establishes himself as the guardian of Gotham City. I think we're gonna see a more streamlined Batsuit and a sleeker Batmobile for sure. Things will be more building towards the contemporary Batman we know today.

I'm cool with Hathaway and Hardy (especially Hardy, Bronson tells me he can do this), and I'm cool with the characters that they're playing. But I'm just a little concerned about the apparent lack of a mastermind villain pulling all the strings. I know Bane is a lot smarter than his last movie outing gave him credit for, but I still can't help but see him as anything more than hired muscle. I'm open to people telling me how they see things going down though.

Despite the cartoon and B&R, Bane's the exact opposite of a hired muscle.

He's the "Anti-Batman." He came to Gotham because he spent his entire life n a prison and the fear of Batman makes Gotham into a prison city. He deduces that Batman is Bruce Wayne extremely quickly and develops a plan to take him out. He destroys Arkham's walls releasing all the most dangerous of criminals in Gotham forcing Batman to catch them. With Batman exhausted, Bane ambushes him in the Batcave and breaks his back, taking him out, and allowing Bane to take over the criminal underworld.

Mastermind wise he's more brilliant than Ra's in Begins. He pretty much did the same thing Ra's did, without the help of a ancient organization devoted to bringing down cities.
