The Dark Knight Rises Concerns about TDKR

im concerned with catwoman :/
not my favorite villain

Although it could make for a good story considering, bruces recent losses.

My prediction is that the next movie will be over shadowed by tdk, since there is no possible way to out do the joker.

But I love bane, so idk.

If he can make a guy in pointy ears and a cape work, then he can make a woman in a skin tight seductive cat suit work.
You mean batman, one of the most popular and beloved characters of all time?

I'd be much more concerned about Bane (who isn't much of a character) than I ever would Catwoman. But Nolan will make it work. He wouldn't waste a great actor like Hardy on Bane unless he had a good angle for the character.

Silly like a man dressed up as bat, or silly like a man getting half his face burned off & still being able to speak properly? Or both?
Yeah, those things dont sound as silly to me, to be perfectly honest....

Yeah but thats different from a voluptuous woman in a black skin tight outfit. Idk....

No, I'm talking about Flass.

How different is it? Seriously stop and think which is harder to make look appealing and cool on screen: A grown man in a cape and cowl, or a sexy woman in a skin tight outfit?

My concern for Hardy is whether his face will be behind a mask the entire time. He's a damn good actor. Face paint with the Joker or half of a mask with Batman is one thing, but Bane's mask covers his whole face including his eyes. Just seems like it takes away from the actor's performance to be hidden behind a mask. Maybe Nolan has a radical take on the character with no mask. I predict Permawhite Pandemonium Part 2 if pictures come out of him in his Bane costume without a mask. :woot:

I see where he's coming from. Batman works in this world because he's an intimidating monster and gothams a dark and nasty place, I can't picture a sexy voluptuous woman in skin-tight clothing in such a disgusting gotham like the one Nolan created. I'm sure it will work great but I have concerns how they'll approach the character.

Eye holes fit well enough with the current design:

Besides, Weaving had a brilliant masked performance. Hardy is certainly capable of the same.

I bet he's going to be Maskless for most of the movie, only putting it on when he's about to F**K S**T UP!

This Hathaway stuff reminds me when everyone boiled a ****storm over Heath Ledger being confirmed as the Joker in 2006. I can almost bet my left nut that you guys will not leave the theatre dissapointed by TDKR, especially Hathaway and Hardy's performances.

What he said ^

Yeeeeah, it's gonna be hard to take you seriously after this. :o

Her proportions look in the average range to me, certainly not 'freakish'. How uncouth.

Please don't carry this any further. I assure you it'll get rather shameful if I'm forced to go on a reading comprehension tirade. It's getting tiring to see post after post of people misinterpreting a playful jab at a trait that Anne herself has cited numerous times and joked about.

I'm glad she's cast, I do think she's attractive when made up, and I think she's a tremendous talent...but I also think her smile doesn't do her any favors.

I'm happy and for the most part so is everyone else, so let's leave things on a good note. Don't look into things that aren't there.

I fail to see what I'm misinterpreting about the emboldened. Better yet, I fail to see how that remark is playful.

What am I seeing that isn't there? You think she has a huge mouth to the point that it's unattractive, bottom line.

Exactly.

Just a poor attempt at backtracking and blaming everyone else for "misinterpreting".

If someone doesn't like someone for the role, whatever. But to nitpick the persons smile is hamfisted and overbearing, unless you're a super model yourself.

So what you people are saying is that this...

Is harder to look at than this...

I truly have given up on my fellow nerds.

It was the tone of the post that read off to me as how one would reply to a person that made a distasteful remark. When I make a point to compliment Anne's looks while noting certain people would probably take my following statement the wrong way... I would think it was obvious there was nothing devious about what I said.

I don't want a Batcave with a T-Rex and a giant penny,I never did. And I don't want to see a maskless Bane through out the entire duration of the movie.
