LOCATION: Asgard

Asgard is a planetoid existing in a alternate dimension within the mainstream Marvel Comics' universe, Earth-616. It is based on the Asgard of Norse mythology and is home to six different races. Asgard features prominently in tales of Thor. In the comic books, Asgard is an asteroid-like world suspended in a "Sea of Space". Gravity radiates from somewhere underneath this asteroid. The top of this "asteroid" is flat like a table. If someone stepped off of this "table", they would fall off the "asteroid" and down through space until they reached the "gravity-generator". Asgard can only be reached from Earth by crossing Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge.

(Since the residents of Asgard wouldn't take to kindly to people invading their home and fighting, all residents of Asgard have been removed. Plus, nobody will have access to objects within Asgard that are specific to certain Asgardian individuals, like Odin. Simply put, it would be too difficult to access whether or not individuals would be able to lift or use these objects, and it's easier to go with that ruling.)

Another easy battle. Captain Britain is your generic hero with Super strength, stamina, and flight. And Spider is a twisted version of Spiderman with a symbiote and a taste for blood. Spider will go for the kill easy. he won't hold back and Cap will be dead in seconds.

Winner=Spider

vs.

Agatha Harkness (HIPPY FASCIST) bio

th_agatha.jpg
Okay, interesting match, and one that will be decided by teh fact that Black Tom is a lunatic.

Powers:

Black Tom is basically a giant living plant organism. He looks like a tree, and can bond with all forms of plant life and control them. This makes it extrmeely difficult for him to be killed or seriously injured since he is in so many plants at once. He can also siphon the life energy out of his oponents "by sticking special tendrils into their body cavities". i will be the first to say that doing that to Agatha Harkness is just a terrible terrible image.

Agatha Harkness is a witch. She can cast a bunch of spells. She is also very old.

As for Prep time, neither will probably get any info on the other. And I am sure both know of Asgard, but I don't believe either have really visited the place.

For the fight, Black Tom would instantly start merging with all the plant life and foliage in Asgard (which from the most part, looks to have quite a bit of plant life.) A big factor here is that Asgard is a magical place. It is very likely that by merging with the plants from Asgard, that Black Tom could easily have some sort of magical power boost. I'm not saying he would be all powerful or anything, but a certain resistance to magic is VERY possible, since that seems to happen to everyone else that absorbs magic in the MU.

Now Black Tom will start going after Agatha righ taway, but she won't be helpless. She probably knows some decent spells, but an important factor here is that she won't go all out and try and kill Black tom. It's just not in her nature. It would also be pretty impossible to teleport him somewhere else, since he is basically everywhere. He surrounds her with his roots and all, and can't be pinned down to one location very easily.

Also, Black Tom is a vicous bastard. He will not hesitate to kill an old lady. He has no real sense of honor here and isn't looking for a fair fight. If he can, he will lurk in the trees, and strike her dead from behind.

Another important factor here is that Agatha is old. Very old. While she defiantely knows some spells, all magic taxes a person physically. And generalyl, the more powerful the spell, teh harder it is on the body. She simply doesn't have the endureance to constantly be casting fire spells at Black tom only to have him appear in yet another tree. At a short amount of time, she would grow very tired and Black tom would kill her.

Black Tom has too much of an advantage by beign abele to be almost everywhere around her, and not having to care about taking a life.

Winner- Black Tom Cassidy

OPENING COMMENTS: Black Panther vs Ironclad

This is an interesting match, largely because the Panther's first appearance was in the Fantastic Four comics, and the U-Foes are pretty much villain versions of the FF. Ironclad basically being the Thing of the U-Foes.

Now, for those who think this is an easy match for the easily stronger Ironclad, I present you a few links. There's this respect thread, detailing some of the awesome feats he's pulled off. Let's recap a few things here: Black Panther originally tested himself against the Fantastic Four, he's stared down Iron Man, has held his own against guys like Captain America, Iron Fist, Ka-Zar and Wolverine. Heck, he recently one-punched Karnak.

Now anyone who still doubts the awesomeness of the Panther, can take a look at this particular thread, which gives a play-by-play of the Panther's feats, by year!

Let's follow that up with a look at his powers:
Strength, speed and endurance
Marvel Directory.Com: The Black Panther is near the pinnicle of human physical perfection, his natural strength and abilities having been heightened by unidentified heart-shaped herb administered only to Wakandan kings during a sacred ascension ritual. The herb is also only in Wakanda. While not superhuman, he is nearly as strong as a human being can become. He can lift (press) a maximum of 750 pounds with supreme effort.
Other skills
Marvel Directory.Com: An accomplished gymnast and acrobat, T'Challa is also an expert tracker. In addition, he has mastered various African martial arts.
Standard equipment
Marvel Directory.Com: T'Challa's Vibranium micro-weave bodysuit not only stops bullets, but saps their momentum. His boots' Vibranium soles absorb sound and impact -- enabling him to leap from structures up to eight stories tall and land without injury, and literally run up the sides of buildings. The Panther's retractable claws contain a new composite of the experimental "anti-metal" Vibranium that can break down other alloys. T'Challa wields an energy dagger that can be fired, thrown or handled like a knife. At its highest setting, the weapon easily can cut through forged steel.

Thing is, we haven't even gotten into the prep-time advantage that the Panther has here. While Ironclad will probably know of who the Panther is, he won't have the kind of wealth of information that the Panther has on Ironclad. The Panther has his own data and contigency plans, while also having access to the good old Avengers files.

Then again, I think this showing against the Thing (remember: first appearance!) says enough, really:

http://img99.exs.cx/img99/6900/ff6.jpg

Not only can Panther withstand Ironclad's punches, he has a wide variety of sleeping gases, poisons, you name it, that he can use to drug Ironclad, and take him down. I don't normally consider matches a blow-out, but Ironclad really doesn't stand a chance against this King of Wakanda. He's just not smart enough to beat the Panther.

Match 5:

Durok The Demolisher (AHURA MAZDA) bio

th_durokdml2.gif

vs.

Black Knight - Dane Whitman (PRIMEMOVER) bio

th_Black-Knight.jpg

This battle will be short and sweet because the Black Knight is simply out classed here against someone that it took King Thor to take out.

Here is an example of the power of Durok:

At this point, Durok and Thor had sparred for a while already, and Thor lay unconscious at a water duct when Surfer finally caught up with the two of them. Realizing that Thor was unconscious Surfer mentally commanded his board to hold Durok to a wall while he examined Thor. At first he thought that Thor was dead, but soon enough decided that he kept a "spark of life" that could be made to blossom by means of his Power Cosmic. That he did, and after a brief conversation he decided to deal with Durok and let Thor return to Asgard to deal with Loki.

Fighting Durok, however, proved to be not much easier for the Surfer than it was for Thor. After demolishing the wall which he was tied to, Durok battled Surfer furiously, managing to down him and even destroy his board.

Durok is highly resistant, is super strong (enough to battle Thor) and can shoot concussive blasts out of arms.

The Black Knight's powers:

The Black Knight was originally a normal human being with no superhuman powers. While sharing the gann josin with Sersi, his strength, speed, and other physical abilities were mildly enhanced. After the gann josin link was broken, Dane returned to being a normal human being. As part of his new role as the Pendragon, however, Dane has gained minor mystical abilities, such as the ability to see through mystical illusions by looking "past the mundane."

Dane is an excellent swordsman whose skills have allowed him to best the Swordsman in combat. He is also an excellent fighter in general, able to hold his own against such skilled fighters as Captain America and Wolverine. He is also an expert horseman.

Basically, the guy is an expert swordsman wwith a photonic sword against a guy who could knock him out with the use of his blasts (which were enough to knock out Thor and the Silver Surfer) or his strengths.

The photonic sword is not likely to do any damage to Durok who is a golem even if dane gets a chance to use it against a creature who seriously over powers him.

And oh.. before I forget Durok is an Asgardian creature.

The Black Knight III vs. Durok the Demolisher

This is a pretty unbalanced fight here, but Dane does have a few tricks up his sleeve that can preset a possibility for victory.

Knowledge wise Dane would have a decent shot at getting some info about Durok, as he is an Avenger alongside Thor, Durok on the other hand probably wouldn't, but even if he did he simply wouldn't care.

Dane would have to use his agility and acrobatics to keep away from Durok, as without the Ebony sword he has no way of doing damage by any weapon he carries. His only possibility of doing damage is to turn Durok's own weapons against him, which in this case is his force blasts he can eminate from his hands, which was powerful enough to fell The Silver Surfer.

Dane, using his Shield of Night and his Sword of Light would absorb and redirect these force blasts, doing this until Durok falls by his own might.

Winner: The Black Knight III

I do agree that it is unbalanced

This I do not agree with because Durok never fought the Avengers only Thor and Silver Surfer, plus this was more a defeat for Thor then a win and as such it is unlikely he would ever talk about it. Dane would know nothing about Durok and Durok would know nothing about Dane.

Durok is no lumbering fool. He was fast enough to fight both Thor and the Silver Surfer. Dane does not have the agility to keep up. And at the end of the day, all it would take is one good hit for dane to be demolished.

Dane, using his Shield of Night and his Sword of Light would absorb and redirect these force blasts, doing this until Durok falls by his own might.

I doubt he could absorb it given Silver Surfer was not able to, plus Durok also has his fists as well which he likes to use. Durok is too much for Dane.

Winner - Durok
