LOCATION: THE NEGATIVE ZONE

The Negative Zone is a fictional alternate universe or dimension in Marvel Comics that contains antimatter.

History

The Negative Zone is a fictional dimension in the Marvel Comics Universe. Essentially, it is a universe parallel to Earth's. The two have many similarities, but a few noteworthy differences include: all matter in the Negative Zone is negatively charged; the Negative Zone is entirely filled with a pressurized, breathable atmosphere; and near the center of the Negative Zone is a deadly vortex of unspeakable power. Since the Negative Zone is largely uninhabited, several would-be conquerors have attempted to bridge the gap to Earth and take over its population. A few notable residents of the Negative Zone include Blastaar, Annihilus and Stygorr.

OPENING COMMENTS: Alex Power vs Scorpion

Let's get one thing clear: This is Scorpion, not the Scorpion-Venom we've got these days.

I'm afraid this isn't much of a match. Scorpion is a regular get-trounced-by-Spider-Man kind of foe, and his powers just don't stand up to the versatility of powers Alex Power has. He's got control over gravity, superspeed, energy blasts and absorption, as well as the ability to control his density.

Scorpion tries to hit him? Alex can become superdense or he can just become a cloud.
Scorpion tries to fire energy at him? Alex can take it and just throw it back at him.

And that's where Scorpion's power ends.

Alex though, has such nice feats as:
- Smacks down the Sphinx, then dodges Sphinx's eye blasts only a moment later by becoming a cloud (Mass Master power) in New Warriors #49.
- Disintegrates a clipboard with a touch (Destroyer power) in New Warriors #61.
- Has a locomotive thrown at him, but he uses his anti-gravity powers to catch and fling it away without much trouble (Zero-G power) in New Warriors #69.

The simple Scorpion simply can't match up against the versatility of someone like Alex Power.

(Above, you'll find three bios on this location. I figure we'll go with the world most know, Arthos. That is where Annihilus is from. As the inhabitants of these worlds would probably get into a fight with the characters, we'll say the location is uninhabited.)

Klaw vs. Famine:

Ok, I just got royally screwed! Why, do you ask? Let me show you:

Klaw's Bio:

Klaw possesses a number of superhuman physical powers stemming from his body's conversion into an extra-physical energy form. In some as yet unknown way, Klaw's body is a stable energy form possessing mass and sentience. This form is not bound by conventional human limitations: Klaw does not need food or sleep...

Need I go any further? Since my character of Famine works on depleting an opponent of their need for food and body, obviously her powers are useless in this match. I very, very rarely concede a match; but, this one is just waaaay too obvious.

EDIT, EDIT, EDIT....I'm keeping the above statement up; but, see my new debate further on down. You cannot edit debates without the other opponents ok. So, that is why I left this one up; even though nothing hasn't been debated by the other partipant. JUST TO REMIND, I DON'T CONCEDE THIS MATCH!!!

Spiral vs Brimstone Love

Brimstone Love is very powerful. But so is Spiral. Prep-Time won't matter here since they are both from different dimensions and times. So they'll fight this battle blind.

Spiral is well trained in combat. Her sword skills are remarkable and her six arms give her a definite advantage. In a physical fight, combined with her enhanced strength and durability, she'll be difficult to beat.

But there won't really need to be a physical fight. Spiral is a powerful sorceress. And while she may need to perform lengthy and complicate dances to cast the most powerful of her spells, she'll only need to make quick gestures to battle Brimstone Love.

Any attacks he uses against her, Spiral can counter and/or avoid. And she has attacks that Love won't be able to do anything against. Spiral was able to take out the X-Men in their first encounter. In another fight, she quickly took down the Avengers with just a few gestures.

Before Brimestone Love can really do anything, Spiral could magically bind him, preventing him from moving, attacking, or even defending himself.

She could teleport him away. But since he's been seen to have teleporting power or technology, he may just teleport right back.

So she could just go for real attack and rob him of all of his powers. Even if it is only temporary, with no power to defend himself, Spiral can have her way with Brimstone Love. And the fight is over.

Spiral wins

Skullfire vs Beast

Beast and prep-time is a lethal combination. In any battle, even against those far more powerful then he is, McCoy is a dangerous opponent.

In any battle except this one.

Prep-time holds little value for Dr. McCoy this time. Skullfire is from the future, so Hank will find no information on him. Nor will he be able to prepare for the battle in any meaningful way since he has no idea what Tim's powers are. He could no doubt come up with a bunch of gizmos to bring into the fight, but the chance that any of them will actually effect Skullfire is slim.

Skullfire, on the other hand, being an X-Man from the future, may be able to find info about Hank. If he does, all the better. But it's not really necessary. He has a clear advantage in the fight.

Tim is now a being of pure energy. He can take in energy from his surrounding and use it to blast his opponent. He could probably drain any equipment Hank brings into the fight.

Beast has a lot of fighting experience, but he literally can't touch Tim. And while Hank can acrobatically evade attack with the best of them, all Skullfire has to do is keep pressing the attack. Eventually Beast will fall.

Skullfire wins
