Wallflower Vs Spiral Final Statement

I see your final rebuttal and I'll just leave these words for mine. If Marvel.com claims a weakness, then I think it's fair enough to count it legit. That said, it's simply up to whether or not the voters believe laurie's pheremones can be the possession that the bio states can get through. Her powers are odd enough to stand out and make a differance. They aren't typical like telepathy and body switching. It's something that's very natural and that is easy for a body to take to. It's as natural and normal as tears or sweat and I think that if anything can get through Spiral's defenses, it'd be something natural... like pheremones.

I'll wrap up as well and say that, if Spiral can not only resist mental possession, but can 'play' with the possessor (as she did by tricking Nocturne), then she's strong enough to resist anything. It's not the type of mental attack that's important, but more that Spiral can detect when her mind is being manipulated and resist it or, if there is a connection, turn it against the one trying to take her mind.

That's a powerful ability, giving Spiral all the time she needs to finish the fight.

Spiral - From all of the characters in this comp, I think Spiral would be one of the people able to resist Wallflower for quite a while.

Super Skrull - (Gravity powers won't do much for a guy who can virtually turn into water and stretch away, and Skrullie can stretch himself 100 miles if need be)

LOCATION: HYDRO-BASE

Hydro-Base is a fictional base in the Marvel Universe. It first appeared in Sub-Mariner #61, created by Steve Gerber, Bill Everett, and Win Mortimer (May 1973).
Hydro-Base is a floating seacraft disguised as a natural island floating off the coast of North America outside US territorial waters. Its first known user was the mad ecologist Dr. Herman Frayne, aka Doctor Hydro, who used it both as a laboratory and an airbase on which to land hijacked planes. Doctor Hydro planned to turn the planes’ passengers into amphibious people, using Terrigen Mist he acquired from the renegade Inhuman, Maelstrom. After Doctor Hydro died, his subjects (now known as the Hydro-Men) inhabited the pseudo-island, along with the marine scientist known as Stingray (Dr. Walter Newell). The Hydro-Men lived on the island until Mister Fantastic and Inhuman scientists found a way to cure them. Stingray continued to use the facility as an oceanographic laboratory, and a residence for himself and his wife, who would serve as caretakers. When the FAA revoked the Avengers’s flight privileges from their mansion, Stingray invited them to create a private airfield on Hydro-Base. The Avengers later moved their headquarters to Hydro-Base when their mansion was destroyed by the Masters of Evil, and Stingray became an unofficial member of the Avengers until they returned to their old base. Hydro-Base was destroyed however by Doctor Doom, although Walter and his wife were able to escape.

I hate to say it, but I just can't think of anything that would make Wallflower win in a rematch. Whether or not you believe that Laurie's powers would work against Spiral... Spiral would know what she's going against this time around and she could conjur up some spells that would help her resist the pheremones and such, and Wallflower has no other people around to control.

So with that, I conceide defeat.

I am proud though that like my Nico last season, Wallflower was my underdog Ace that I wanted to take far, and I took her the farthest, and her final fight was taken to it's extreme... a tie and a rematch. I'm proud of her.
