Kurse (AHURA MAZDA) bio

LOCATION: Limbo

This Limbo is also referred to as Otherplace. It first appeared in X-Men #160. (It has sometimes been erroneously called Otherworld; however, in the Marvel Universe, Otherworld is actually the home dimension of the beings who empower and oversee the Captain Britain Corps, and should not be confused with Other-Earth, homeworld of Kang the Conqueror.) Limbo's physical laws are primarily magical, though laws of the ordinary universe (such as electromagnetism and gravity) normally apply within its bounds.
It has an ecology composed primarily of demons of various sizes, strengths, and intellects. It is said that its ether is much thinner than that of the normal universe, allowing for a greater spectrum of magical powers and effects. All demons within it are magical creatures that possess spell making abilities to a greater or lesser degree.
Although Otherplace has a linear history, time within it is not rigid. Many points in its past and future are connected through naturally occurring temporal rifts, and its present is relative to the individual. Its history can be changed by travel through these rifts, but for some reason this is rare.
Limbo is traditionally ruled by a Supreme Sorcerer, either a demonic native or an entity from another universe, often Earth's. Limbo's appearance and physical laws are highly variable, and determined by the power and personal taste of its ruler. It can take the form of an otherworldly paradise, or a rocky, sulfurous perdition. The demons of Limbo traditionally display an attitude of slavish loyalty to its sovereign, and act as his or her servants. They will even assume forms mandated by the sorcerer if he or she is sufficiently powerful. However, the longer Limbo's ruler spends away from the dimension, the weaker that individual's mystical thrall over it becomes, and the more autonomously the demons begin to act. Left to their own devices they will plot to betray and conquer whomever holds the highest position. They will also attempt to invade other realities if not held in check.
Otherplace generally has a morally and spiritually corrupting influence over its denizens. If human, a resident of the realm will slowly metamorphose into a demonic entity. This change enhances the magical powers of the individual at the cost of their soul. Persons of great moral courage and wisdom can stave off the change for decades, but it is considered inevitable. The transformation usually progresses in stages initiated by the evil acts Limbo demands for survival. Magic in limbo is fundamentally neutral. It is the social and political climate that leads to this process.
The reality of Limbo is generated by a single deposit of a magical metal called promethium. In Limbo it takes the form of a giant animal heart, hidden in a cavern deep below its surface. Removal of the promethium to another dimension will cause Limbo to vanish. The heart of Limbo was once sought by the supervillain Doctor Doom as an inexhaustible energy source for his nation of Latveria.

(The souls and entities in Limbo will not fight or combat the opponents unless made to do so or if they are made to be very upset.)

Match 4:

Her (WIEGEABO) bio

th_250px-Kismet_28comics29.jpg

vs.

Kurse (AHURA MAZDA) bio

th_kurse.gif

Kursemarvel.jpg

Kurse is one of the most powerful creatures in the Marvel Universe. His strength is off the charts. He is over 4 times as strong as Thor.

First of all here is a ranking of his powers:

Strength: (currently) Incalculable (12/12)
Speed: Enhanced Human (5/10)
Stamina: Immeasurable (10/10)
Durability: Demi-godlike (11/14)
Agility: Enhanced Human (5/7)
Reflexes: Enhanced Human (5/7)

The Beyonder changed Kurse's physiology and he has armour grafted onto his skin. It took all the combinned magic of both Mjollnir and Stormbringer (draining them of all their energy) to knock him out. Her does not have that kind of power at her disposal.

Now, neither character will know anything about the other. Kurse did not even exist in Nordic Mythology so really there is nothing she can know about him. He will also know nothing about Her.

Her is a powerful being with class 70 strength and cosmic blasts. But she falls short of many other powerful beings such as Thor and Beta Ray Bill which were both defeated individually by Kurse.

Kurse has one ability, the ability to destroy anything that comes before him.

This is a battle that Her will engage as she will often do being somewhat rash. Kurse will be able to resist anything she comes up with and will use all his strength to take her down. He is a known warrior with no pity for his adversaries and Her will just be another notch under his belt.

This will take some time as Her can protract the battle but there can be only one result to somebody who was able to soundly defeat Thor as the picture above shows.

Winner - Kurse

Madman (MIDNIGHT ICE) bio

VS.

Magneto (KYTRIGGER) bio

th_Magneto.jpg
Interesting match we have here.

Powers:
Madman is a Hulk villain so he has superstrength and endurance, good durability, and can jump high

Magneto can control the magnetic spectrum doing a ridiculous amount of things (everyone knows what mags can do so I won't repeat them here).

Prep time is a wash. I doubt either would know a great deal about the other one or about the location.

Now, Magneto's shields have easily withstood punches form Thor and She-Hulk at the same time, so I don't see Madman being much a a problem.
And that is the main point. If Madman can't punch through his shield, then he really has no way of hurting Magneto.

Magneto on the other hand can still attack Madman by stopping the flow of iron in his blood, liftin ghim up and throwing him down, using any metal in the area and pummeling him with it. Now because of Madman's endurance, it woudl take a while for him to stay down, but Magneto has a will like none other and doesn't tire very easily. IUt would take a while, but eventually Madman woudl just be worn down by Magneto.

Winner- Magneto

Super-Adaptoid vs Meggan

Meggan has power, but she's out of her element here. And she's facing an opponent that won't be effected by the location.

Prep-time might favor Meggan. If she can get info on the Adaptoid from her Excalibur connections, she can learn about what he does. Super-Adaptoid doesn't need to know anything about Meggan beforehand because, once it is in proximity to her, it will be able to copy her powers and understand her abilities.

Location won't effect the Adaptoid, but it will effect Meggan. She will be in an environment that makes her control over natural elements questionable (since the rules of nature are somewhat iffy in Limbo). She will probably still have control, but it will be weaker since she'll be away from Earth.

In battle, the Adaptoid has a host of powers to draw from which can include the Fantastic Four (except for Thing), Spider-Man, The Thunderbolts, Heroes-For-Hire, and even the Hulk (because he fought them all and can copy those that he fights).

And regardless of what powers Adaptoid brings to the fight, he can always copy Meggan to take away the powers advantage. All this while maintaining other powers to offset Meggan's experience with her abilities.

The Adaptoid wins battles by overwhelming opponents with a variety of powers, including their own. And this situation is no different.

Super-Adaptoid wins

Meggan vs. The Super-Adaptoid - opening remarks

Meggan is a mutant with empathic powers, shapeshifting abilities giving her the abilities to augment her size and strength and even talents(depending on the animal she becomes), and has tremendous elemental and electro-magnetic powers.

The Super-Adaptoid is an android with the ability mimic powers from those around him, and keep those powers, though many times he has lost powers. He retains powers from many of marvels powerhouses, including the Avengers and the Hulk.

Meggan would be able to get as much information as she would need to fully understand The Super-Adaptoids powers and how they work. The Super-Adaptoid would be limited in his knowledge, as his understanding of beings comes when he mimics them.

How this fight would go is Meggan would keep her distance knowing that The Super-Adaptoid needs to be within a close distance to be able to scan his foe to adapt to their powers. The Super-Adaptoid being an android, can be shut down like any other android, as was done by The Vision by simply phasing his hand into the androids chest, immediately sending him falling to the ground by disrupting the androids systems beyond it's ability to adapt.

Meggan has vast electromagnetic powers enabling her to disrupt and destroy mechanical and computerized parts, and at some times manipulate them. With these powers she has accomplished such feats as opening up an electronically locked prison door, shut down an attack helicopter with such fidelity as to not hurt the pilots inside, make high powered rounds of ammunition explode without hesitation, and disable a humongous complex's super strong shields from several hundred feet away.

While Meggan has shown the ability to phase through solid matter(by actually seperating the molecules), she does not the ability to phase like The Vision does, but this demonstrates The Super-Adaptoid has a weakness to such an attack from the inside, which Meggan can mimic.

Keeping her distance, she could fry the adaptoid from the inside, disabling him and ending this fight before it can even start.

Winner: Meggan

Her vs Kurse

This is another match that could just go on and on and on and on...

Prep-time and location do nothing for either character. This is just going to be a brawl one of the characters, and probably the location, are utterly destroyed.

Her's biggest advantage is long distance attacks, especially while flying. From a safe distance, Her can pound mercilessly on Kurse, amping up the power of the each attack as Kurse resists. Kurse can move quickly, faster than any human, but Her can reach the sound barrier if necessary. So she'll always be able to outrun and out manuever Kurse.

Of course, this exposes Kurse's biggest advantage, his sheer power. Not only is Kurse over class 100 in strength, but he is virtually indestructible. He can be brought down, but it takes an immense attack of such high magnitude to do it.

But, while his durability will keep him in the fight, his strength will contribute little because it's unlikely he'll ever be able to lay a hand on Her. And if he does, she's got more than enough durability and strength to hold her own. She can heal from all but the most disruptive of attacks (attacks that destroy a significant part of her body). But before it gets that far, she'll realize staying back and hitting Kurse with cosmic energy is her best tactic.

But she'll only keep this up for a limited amount of time before she realizes she's not getting anywhere. It is possible Her has enough power to put Kurse down, but it's not likely. So once Her sees Kurse still moving, she'll dip into her bag of tricks.

On thing she can try is molecular rearrangement. She might put a block of metal around his head to blind him, or blocks around his arms and legs to try and bind him. But, unless it's adamantium, he would just rip the bindings apart. Her could even rearrange the molecules in Kurse's body to cause him extreme pain or, if she does it to his brain, take him down. (And if she tries different metals, one of which happens to be iron...)

And if Her does eventually tire, she could buy herself time to recharge in a way that accidentally also winds up taking Kurse out. Her can manipulate gravitons, meaning she has control over gravity. This is how she flies. But it's also how she can trap Kurse helplessly in the air. He would just float there, unable to fight, move, or control what happens to him. In effect, he'd be incapacitated and out of the fight. Or, while stuck in the air, Her can blast Kurse with a massive attack that propels him out of the battlefield (she blasted Thing nearly three-quarters of a mile away). A ring-out may seem cheap, but when your opponent is indestructible, it's often the best tactic.

This is going to be a long and exhausting fight. But with more abilities to draw from, and tactics to use, Her can take this battle.

Her wins

Her vs Kurse - Rebuttal

This is another match that could just go on and on and on and on...

I agree so far

Her's biggest advantage is long distance attacks, especially while flying. From a safe distance, Her can pound mercilessly on Kurse, amping up the power of the each attack as Kurse resists. But before it gets that far, she'll realize staying back and hitting Kurse with cosmic energy is her best tactic.

Her's only advantage is she can fly but that has not stopped Kurse before. He is an infatiguable creature. And nothing in Her's arsenal will phase Kurse. As a stated earlier, it took one blast using all the combinned magic of both Mjollnir and Stormbringer (it drainned both and they had to be recharged ...I think by Surtur) channeled through someone else to knock him out. Nothing else had phased him.

His speed was also enough to take care of others and Her was never someone who went into a combat with much caution. As she has no idea what she is facing she is likely to take this combat close enough for Kurse to manhandle Her. Plus lets not forget in his hands she does not have the durability to resisit for long as she has less fortitude then Thor.

But she'll only keep this up for a limited amount of time before she realizes she's not getting anywhere. It is possible Her has enough power to put Kurse down, but it's not likely. So once Her sees Kurse still moving, she'll dip into her bag of tricks.

This is going to be a long and exhausting fight. But with more abilities to draw from, and tactics to use, Her can take this battle.

First off, this ignores Her's history in battling others where she tends take it in close rather then battle from afar. Plus she enters most combats with so much confidence as if she were the most powerful creature out there.

Another thing to note is that yes she can fly very fast inn a straight line but she is not much faster then Kurse when it comes to combat. And Kurse has fought fliers and such before and it has not stopped him from destroying them.

Her is likely to attack Kurse head on and she will underestimate him as nothing could prepare Her for a creature of his power.

Kurse wins

Magneto (KYTRIGGER) bio

This is am interesting match up. They will both know of each other, but I don't think that will make a difference.

At first, it does seem that Madman can't hurt Magneto if he hides in his shield. But we are in Limbo, and there isn't really much metal for Magneto to use.

On top of that, I don't know how Magneto's shield works, but if it is somewhat solid, Madman can grab the shield and toss him extremely far.

I really believe that the location is what gives Madman the edge here. Otherwise, Magneto would probably win every time, but in Limbo, I don't think there is much metal for Magneto to control and use to help hm.

Winner: Madman

A major thing though is the fact that Magneto doesn't just need metal to surround himself in a shield really. He has shown to have "invisible" shields of just electromagnetic currents in the air, which Limbo still has. We commonly just think he controls metal, but he control the entire electromagnetic spectrum not just metal.

Worst case scenario, he can also draw the iron form out of the air (which he has been known to do) and draw it form the actual dirt as well.

Winner- Magneto

OPENING COMMENTS: Apocalypse vs Invisible Woman

So, you know, I hate Poccy, but he can win this. If you will all follow me to the Apocalypse respect thread here, everything will be all dandy. Please keep your limbs inside the vehicle and no flash photography. We hope you enjoy your stay.

As we can immediately see when entering that thread, Poccy's powers:
Power Status
*Hulk-level/above Hulk-level strength
*Complete molecular control of his body also gives him the ability to duplicate any physical super power and transmutation.
*Energy absorption/manipulation
*Psionic powers/Telepathy and Telekinesis
*Some level of control of his Celestial technology. The exact level seems to be contradicted through the comics.
*Extra-dimensional power-increase to give himself near-limitless/limitless power
*Near-invulnerability and swift regeneration
*Near-complete immunity to telepathic attacks
*Teleportation
*Techno-Organic Virus gives him unparalleled ability to interface with technology.
*Genius level intellect, expert in mutant biology and genetics.

There is literally nothing that the Invisible Woman, no matter how much I love her, can do against this. Poccy doesn't need to breathe, and an offensive use of her forcefields can be parried or heck, Poccy can just take it on full frontal. Eventually Sue is going to wear out against his mammoth strength, and that's when he'll go for the final blow.
