No one would care for a Two-face movie. There's some interest because of Batman.
took the words right out of my headTwo-Face is a popular villain due to his backstory, but could he hold up a film by himself, a la the Joker? I'm thinking he could, but only if it were done the right way - the right way being similar to "The Long Halloween/Dark Victory" storylines.
That's if they go with that angle. Bruce never really had a relationship with Harvey, in fact in TLH Harvey was downright scornful whenever Wayne was mentioned.I think he could, both as a threat to Batman and with the complexity of the character and his relationship with Bruce
True, true, but I was addressing the general notion that Two-Face could not support a movie. It would require quite a change in tone (based on how complex and epic TDK seems to be), which would seem jarring after what has gone before. I would like for the focus of III to be Batman vs Two-Face, with other elements whirling around them, much as TDK seems to be Batman vs Joker with a large supporting cast.Normally he probably could, but it wouldnt fit as a sequel to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Sure, you could do a neat litle detective movie with Batman hunting down Two-Face, but it would seem so out of place coming right after The Dark Knight, which looks to be epic in scale.
Nolan's bat-movies seem to be really complex. Lots of characters, lots of **** going on. I highly doubt the next movie will be just Batman vs. Two-Face.
Also, I have a feeling Nolan will want to show us something new, and with reports of Eckhart wearing the make-up in the second film already, Two-Face wont be that new. I definatley think the third Batman film will be a lot more than Batman vs. Two-Face.
Yes.
I think all of Batman most famous villians, at least the big 4 (Joker, 2face, Riddler, Catwoman) could hold a movie by themselves.
The worst legacy Tim Burton gave Batman was putting 2 villians in one movie and then it bacame sort the stamp for each of the sequels.
I think the best storyline for a third film would be Joker escaping from Arkham (or escaping from his trial, if what Goyer said was true), and then Two-Face going on a rampage to find him and kill him. In other words, it would be a race between Batman and Two-Face to find the guy before Two-Face tears the city apart in a wake of bodies.
