Xbox Crackdown Appreciation Thread

Ok.So a week ago I purchased my Xbox 360 and with it I got Halo 3,Call of Duty 3 and Crackdown. Now I've finished Halo and Call of Duty is an awesome online MP but I'd never heard of Crackdown....

Well all I can say is WOW...I absolutely love this game...its amazing...jumping clean over roof tops or picking up cars whilst the gangs are still inside or driving the agency supercar and flipping others whilst you drive....the game is just genius and an awesome idea....

Just wondered if anyone else enjoyed this game too?If so then show your appreciation....

people will bash me for this, but I didnt find this game anything new or exiciting. Its GTA but spiderman kinda and futureistic. Want to play the REAL Crackdown try playing GTA SA

GTA SA...isnt that where you have to go to the gym and stuff to level up your character?

if so i found that one to be very frustrating....it took too much....you couldnt just jump into the action like you can with Crackdown

Excellent choice. Crackdown is easily up there with Bioshock and Halo 3 as one of the best games on the platform. It's easily the best freeroaming game of this generation (and will stay that way until GTA4 comes out) and I really wish it wasn't so overlooked.

I love it too. Outside of Oblivion, its the next gen game I have spent the most time playing with.

"Keys to the City" made it the best game ever, and is the best DLC for a 360 game yet, as far as I'm concerned.

Opens up all sorts of codes and lets you restart the campaign. It's free, too.

i loved this game. my friend alex showed it to me and i couldnt put the controller down for days. its a great game imo

When the demo came out, I was so addicted to it. The real game is even better, too.

its a great game....another addictive one....i especially like the graphics when you level up and your whole suit glows and then grows and emits a shockwave taking out anything around you....its brilliant

I stopped playing for so long because I am trying to kill this fat woman in a cave..can't do it.I just need to level up more I guess.I will try tonight probably.

Just chuck a lot of grenades in there because the cave is LOADED with explosives.

with quite a few of the honchos that i had to kill i went around the fact that they had 6 or 7 lives.One of them i ran over tehn reversed and he died straight away and another one i pushed him off a balcony and he broke his neck.saved alot of ammo and time lol...im always trying to find shortcuts to killing the main guys

Crackdown is a great game, with a good twist at the end that you don´t expect.
With that ending, you can make a great sequel...if MS and RTG make it one day.
