They were posted ages ago, i have no idea exactly where they are in the X sequels thread. But i remember the Marsden lookalike was astonishing. You'll have to trawl the Sequels section for them.

No offense taken, it´s just that most X-fans I know read, like and even write fanfiction, so I thought it was really weird finding a fan with a fic hatred!
Yeah, ff.net has a lot of trash, but I´ve also found some few fantastic writers there like notmanos, writers who I consider much better than some of the "official" ones working for Marvel. But seeing that they´re all Wolverine writers, I can´t really recommend them to you! t:

There is a good chance that Cyclops will have a good role if Whedon is writing and directing X4.

If we were to use X3's continuity, how would you bring back Scott? Would anyone take the Search For Spock route or do something fresh and unique?

Perhaps have Scott being held captive by Mr. Sinister or simply have him in a comatose state like the Astonishing X-Men storyline. I admit that it could be very difficult to do, but with a little imagination and originality it can be pulled off.

My perspective? I'd introduce Emma Frost into the storyline and have the team find Scott buried or in coma at Alkali Lake and have Emma use her telepathic powers to enter into his mind and save him. Granted it could come off as cheesy in the end, however, I think it'd be a nice change of pace since bringing Jean back from the dead again would be overkill.

Maybe they can mix both and make Sinister capture the comatosed Cyclops and have Emma save him. And the actress for Emma Frost should be Elisha Cuthbert.t:

Here's how I brought Scott back, and gave his character a substantial amount of substanice without attaching him to the hip to a woman who can barely tell he's there

Good question. It's something that I've been thinking about for quite sometime, you know? Maybe have the intro of the movie open with Mr. Sinister at Alkali Lake researching what's left of Strykers files. He then could happen across the body of Scott slowly drifting away in the water or buried in the rubble.

In the process he'll hold him captive and conduct mutant experiments on him.

Sure, it may not be much, but it could get the ball going and eventually Sinister could start creating mutant clones thus introducing Apocalypse into the storyline. Yes, it sounds far fetched in the end, however, it can be done with a good bit of imagination and originality.

::Sinister notices Scott in the rubble of Alkali Lake and puts his fingers to his pulse::

Sinister:: Hmm, still alive I see. You'll be perfect for the research I'm conducting.

yeah seriously i hate how they made wolverine the only character to give a damn really and then everyone else just forgetting about him. Seriously its like they gave Cylops' role to Wolverine. ughhh im so sick of complaining about this movie F-YOU FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what's the funniest thing? Quite a few times I've mocked Grant Morrison's take on "dark" Cyclops. You know, the whole 'Now I wanna do real naughty things to my wife' qualifying as a soul-changing ordeal.

Seems like - from what I've heard so far - the Spidey3 writers decided to go that route with emo/perv Peter only about 100x times more stupid. t:

Can't wait to see the flick if just for laughing at how silly the whole good VS evil & revenge themes were handled. And no, I'm not seeing it before 10 P.M. or so on either sunday or monday. Am NOT battling crowds for THAT. t:

That bad, huh? Gonna go see it on Sunday, but the differece between Spiderman movies and X-Men ones is that I'm not a spidey fan, I won't be hit too hard if it's really not as good as Spiderman 1&2.
