OOOOHHH that trailer. :mrk::mrk::mrk: As mentioned the tone is really terrific and the costume looks great in action. I feel the show is really going to deliver. I'm beyond hyped for this and can't wait to strap in and enjoy the ride.

Apparently not only does Steven DeKnight follow Milo Ventimiglia on twitter, but so does the official Daredevil page. Guys gotta have a role lined up.

He's Punisher, I'm certain of it. He posted a picture on Instagram a few months back tagged with 'FrankCastle', followed by this tweet: "#FrankCastle says go **** yourself Friday. LA, CA. @RussCundiff @nathanedmondson @Marvel". And don't forget the writer of the Punisher comic saying "[Milo] would make a helluva Frank, right?" and Milo also tweeting "Hating the world right now buddy, Punisher style". Frank Grillo also tweeted a while back to "forget being a rockstar - be in a Marvel movie", to which Milo replied "Sounds like a plan." Add in DeKnight's constant tweeting about the character - I'd say it's all but confirmed at this point. We'll be seeing Punisher a lot sooner than any of us initially thought I reckon

Sounds pretty ominous. I just want them to get the character right after two botched attempts, still not sold on Milo as him but then not seen anything from him since Hero's so I guess we has or needs to bulk up a bit for the role of Castle.
 
My problem with him is he just doesn't look world weary enough, he's 37 which is a decent age for a new Punisher but he looks in his 20s.
 
Yep, I have the same impression of him. To me, his face is too cute and pretty for Punisher.
 
Yeah, that's the main problem with him. He seems like he needs a few more years on him and other experiences to get rid of the boyish look. He seems more of a straight up hero than embittered anti-hero.
 
I don't know, I think he could pull it off.

He doesn't look so bad in this picture above if you only focus on his face but let's just forget about it for a moment. Don't you think he's simply too short and skinny? It's not even a matter of bulking up at the gym but it's about his stature. Physically, he doesn't match my vision of Frank. I still believe the best Punisher performance was brought by Stevenson, unfortunately, he can't reprise it.
 
Didn't Milo just recently get added to the cast of Gotham?
 
Yeah but Bats is talking as if he has already filmed a cameo in DD, and then he probably won't show up again till Defenders or something, so a guest star role isn't going to affect that.

Also about his height, he isn't really short just about average, same height as Statham and Stallone, I think they can be considered intimidating.
 
His looks really depend on the photo, in some he looks very world weary and Punisher-esque.
