My birthday is in the beginning of April and my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her it was to watch the 13 episodes of Daredevil on April 12th (our day off together) before watching Game of Thrones. She said she would, so I am very excited that she is going to share the experience with me and I will not need to wait until the following Thursday when I have my other day off by myself. So excited for this!

Your wife is awesome! Mine also agreed to watch Daredevil with me on weekend it's released. She's not a fanatic like I am, but she enjoys the MCU and accompanies me to every midnight show for every MCU film like a champ. :)

Yeah, my wife also is not all that into it, but she watches them mostly because she knows it gives me an even greater pleasure to experience the MCU movies and shows at her side. Of course she knows I would do the same for her in a heartbeat.

As for Daredevil's fighting style a combination of Parkour and Ninjitsu sounds about right. However, while his fighting style should be different his fighting abilities should be on par with Hawkeye and Black Widow. Superhuman no, but definitely super impressive fighters that push the limits of what seems humanly possible. Cap, would be the next step up being always at the limit of what is humanly possible under optimal circumstances and if our bodies were perfect in every way shape and form imaginable. He might be viewed as Superhuman because no human is as perfect physically as him. Then up from that you have Spider-man doing things of a Superhuman nature that would be impossible no matter how well thehuman bodys potential is unlocked. His feats go beyond. So, I see Daredevil as being about 2 tiers down from Spider-man when it comes to what their bodies are physically capable of. However, Daredevil is definitely the better experienced fighter, so he makes up there what he lacks in other places.

Anyways that is just how I see it.

I don't know if it will be adressed in the show, but thanks to his senses Matt is much more physically able than your regular man, just cuz he has more control of his muscles/body (maybe he can always maximize his workouts this way), great reflexes and agility. So not only would he be a very good fighter but also in top shape, but not so much as Cap.

about 11 days left until DD on Netflix. I hope this show is awesome

Charlie Cox will be on the David Letterman show tonight. Be prepared for a clip.

I'm renewing my Netflix subscription next week just in time.

Awesome. A little surprised to see the Night Nurse get her own poster, but cool.

Well, I think Night Nurse would have not gotten a poster if she wasn't played by a fairly well known actress. Rosario Dawson is a fairly well known name, a big enough name to where I could see her cameo in Dr. Strange as a hospital colleague of Steven Strange.

I keep thinking it's torture that May 1st is so far away, and it feels like I will never make it through to The Avengers (especially since I've landed myself back in the hospital which I believe is located someplace deep inside a wormhole where time moves at half speed), then I remember the saving grace that is Daredevil.

Every trailer and clip just makes me so excited, like more than I ever planned on being. I mean, I was always looking forward to it, but sort of in the way I look forward to Thor movies. It's a good way to pass the time and I love anything that can sweep me ff to the MCU even though if I'm totally honest Cap and Tony are more my thing - or in this case, Luke and Danny. But man, the closer and closer it gets the more excellent it looks. When I was a kid and read comics regularly, I just never had much interest in Daredevil, although in the last couple years I've picked backup on the habit and what I've been hearing about the Waid run makes it sound like it would be right up my alley, so maybe I should give his 616 self another chance.

Anyway, point being I came to the table prepared to enjoy the series just as a fan of the MCU but man, they have built up the anticipation on this. It's gotten to the point where instead of using DD to distract myself from how far Age Of Ultron seems, I'm just torturing myself with how long it is until Dardevil. Ar, a whole 11 days? How am I suppoe to make it a whole 11 days!? Marvel be reasonable!

Devin Faraci just tweeted that he's hearing "very bad buzz on Daredevil"

Not much you can say to that. Its either gonna be great or its not. We'll know when April 10th gets here.

Oh boy, here we go. I also recall Devin Faraci going on a tirade against Japanese anime on social media too, and saying how happy he was his kid wasn't a fan of anime.

Listen, if its bad, its bad.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Arrow. I often found the first season to be unbearable with the soap opera storylines and a lot of often bad dialogue and writing and plotting. But Arrow is a hit show and it's built up a loyal fanbase. So to each his own.

Agents of SHIELD got trashed a lot until around midway through the first season as well.

I could get really upset about Feraci, who Im not a fan of. But why would he say that? Not to get traffic on Hipster Digest and make everyone upset of course. He would never do such a scumbaggy thing right?

He actually trolls quite a lot probably for attention. All scoopers do.

The thing is I can see it not being as good as we were hoping expecting, but very bad, I can't see it from what we've seen, heard, the cast.

Trolls is a good word. Basically a scumbag who runs a movie website is another way of putting it. :)

Honestly, I could care less what some other human has to say about movies/shows. They are not me and I am not then. What they may loathe I may thoroughly enjoy.

A prime example it AoS. I enjoy that show immensely and many critics poo-poo it. But they all love Arrow...while I find that show predictable and very soap-y.

Best to make up your own mind.

He was quick to dismiss the one review we've alredy got that was positive

Except if the show isn't well received then who knows if they do another season. Or perhaps it will put on hold other potential projects.

Whatever people say usually the more critics like it the more the audience likes it as well, there are only a few shows where it's critically panned but loved by the audience.

He's had a kinda negative attitude towards this show ever since last year when they showed the black costume. I figured he would say something like that so I won't panic unless other reviews/reactions are indeed bad.

Marco Polo (a show that I liked) from Netflix had many bad critics, and got renewed.

And heard from several people who claim to have seen some episode but can't talk about it yet, that the show was awesome.
