Costume still looks fine, looks like they altered the nose, which was kost peoples complaints. As for the red we dont know what type of filter or color correction they'll do, its maroon but could end up looking more red after post.

It didn't hold back the first season because it didn't appear until the last episode. The all black outfit was badass, and this...isn't.

Yeah that original black suit was awesome.:hmr:

Sadly, I have no liking for that suit. I try to like it by looking by it positively ( in my mind ) yet I end up hating it more..Those excellent photos of dr strange released doesn't help too

I understand why the Punisher won't be wearing his skull shirt around everywhere, as that would be a huge giveaway, but I do wanna see him wear it at least one time. I mean that's an iconic piece of Marvel imagery. You see the Punisher logo on clothing and such more often than almost any other marvel hero logo

It looks a little more form fitting, although it may be because Cox is bigger this season.

So the suit looks a little tighter on him this time around because its containing a massive Cox.

I ****ing love it too, I know most don't  Oh well I enjoy it haha

Straight the mask looks a little strange still but from the side it looks great. The rest of the suit I have nothing to complain about.

Looks like Tom Brady to me.

Looks like some random dude wearing a biker outfit. It's as if the costume designer decided to take inspiration from all the elements that made The Dark Knight suit so unpleasant to look at.

I think it looks really good! The mask has grown on me since the last episode. I also don't mind the duller red color for the outfit either.

I have loved the suit since I first saw it. All I MOSTLY wanted was red with horns.

I still think it needs some touch ups though! Mostly with the chin area and the sides of the face and neck. It just needs to be tightened and tweaked. Love that they kept the lenses!

That suit get uglier every time I look at it. *sigh*

Yep. The mask looks weird and I don't like the M rim around his face. I prefer something cleaner and more form fitting. Ben Affleck's mask looked much better. And the rest of it looks clunky and stiff. They should be able to improve on Affleck's suit - take anything that might've worked and make it better with more flexible materials, not completely throw it out and bring in something that looks like a budget TV suit. This doesn't look like it would work in a big screen movie at all.

Even something more like the Flash would've been better. It's almost like they're ashamed to embrace the red colour fully and its comic book roots.

And as for the Punisher, I hope to see the skull and not go through a whole season without it like Matt did without his DD suit in Season 1. Not that it paid off in the end at all. I'm also not keen on Punisher's skin head look. His normal hair as Jon Bernthal looked more or less perfect, so why mess with that look? He should've naturally looked the most like the Punisher out of all the actors, and yet it seems they've gone out of their way to make him look the least like him now.

Somehow they've managed to make Charlie Cox with the DD mask on look like Harry Hamlin with no mask.

And it's not like Cox looks anything like Hamlin normally. But that mask now gives him the same kind of expression and features. Hamlin could literally just paint his face a dark red and black, shave his head and he'd look more or less the same.

Although I wasn't fond of the black costume, I preferred the way the mask covered Cox's face, and the way it was more form fitting. They could've made an upgraded red version of that.

Complaining about him not having a skull on his shirt after only seeing a few candids and some official photos. People need to calm down and wait for the show and then decide.

Catwoman in TDKR was probably the best representation of the character on screen. The outfit might not have been what people wanted/expected (the Darwyn Cooke/Hush, Goggle look) but everything else about her was amazing and the highlight of the movie. The same might happen for The Punisher and/or Elektra. Till then...

But lots of people did also like Catwoman's costume in TDKR. It was based on Julie Newmar's costume and is an iconic and immediately recognisable look for Catwoman. It looked just like a modern day take on the 60s costume but very near identical.

Cox's DD's costume doesn't look as immediately recognisable as Affleck's and certainly not iconic like the comic. And as for Punisher, I'm going off of what we've experienced in Season 1 where they held off with DD's red costume until the very end, and then it didn't even deliver. Unless Bernthal is going to grow his hair out, then he's already not looking as much like the Punisher as the other actors, and he should look naturally the most like him.

So they are sticking with that hideous costume. Are the showrunners blind? Cause thats the only excuse for thinking that thing looks good. The mask is the worst part. It does something awful to his face. What really pisses me off is they have this in the opening credits:

Why the hell cant they give him a costume that evokes that? Something like this:

People hated the Catwoman design up until the movie was released. When that first shot was released, even I thought it was disappointing. Now, I love it.

As for the Punisher look, I doubt we will have to wait for the final episode to get the skull and if we do, we do. His hair was growing out during filming. So it seems like his hair will grow longer... though probably not as long as you and other Punisher fans would want. If he lacks both the hair and the skull, there's still a big chance he'll embody the character so well that those aren't as big of an issue as you and other fans are making it out to be.

That wasn't the case. I followed that movie and the Anne Hathaway as Catwoman thread very closely before it even came out, and there were plenty in there who loved the Julie Newmar-inspired Catwoman costume.

And just embodying the character doesn't really cut it anymore these days with all the other comic faithful costumes we've been getting. And we've already had a skull-less Punisher with Dolph Lundgren, whom some argue did embody the character.

Did some half-assed coloring...

Frankly, I'd rather not have the contrast. Unless the black is going to be a shade of red, I'd rather it be dark on dark. Lightening the red just calls attention to the black.
