Just because he doesn't wear it in the first 2 episodes (which is all EW has seen) doesn't necessarily mean he won't *ever* wear it.

It's likely that he'll show up wearing the shirt later on in the season or when he gets his own series. Kind of like Daredevil's costume in Season 1.

I really hope this show does get released in March. May is too long of a wait. As for the skull, I'm sure he'll get it. They kind of hinted at it in the teaser.

Sigh...so just as I thought, he won't be sporting the skull. While completely understandable in this more realistic, gritty world they're building, its disappointing that Frank won't have his classic insignia. I had a strong feeling they were going in that direction.

Typical. All you see is a few pics and info from EW about only 2 episode and what do you do, jump to a conclusion. Why do some of you do this I honesty don't get it. Get a grip. I think some of you jump to these conclusions for the dumbest reasons, this is one of them.

If I remember correctly, the material was such that he actually could see out of it (at least to a degree).

How did you create his black mask?

We had to come up with ways to create this mask so that it wasn’t dangerous for him to wear it, but it looked like what we needed it to look like. That was really tricky. It’s made out of a cotton mesh. Layers and layers of it. It has to really conform to his head, but at the same time, he had to be able to see through it. It also had to, in Joe Quesada’s words, 'look really badass.'

Ready for your first glimpse of Elektra?

Marvel’s Daredevil is set to introduce the violent sexy mercenary (The Girl with the Dragon tattoo actress Élodie Yung) in season 2. She’ll complicate Matt Murdoch’s (Charlie Cox) life while he struggles to handle new threats in Hell’s Kitchen, including Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher (Jon Bernthal).

Below is a first photo of the actress in the show — albeit without her double-sai-dagger wielding costume on.

“Matt’s a deeply moral complicated guy and she’s just the best bad girlfriend you can possibly have,” showrunner Doug Petrie says. “She does everything wrong and attractive, she’s his id, the wild side. Matt is always taming his wild side. Elektra just lets it out. He’s both repulsed and deeply drawn to that.”

It's that forehead faceplate, it makes him look odd and doofy...

It's not just that. There's no DD insignia, the color is a dark red/brown and it just lacks that sense of iconography. I don't see anything resembling "Daredevil" .

It doesn't looked tweaked at all to me.

That picture of Daredevil in church is badass. But, yeah, I really hoped that they would make some changes to the costume. Hopefully he will get a new and improved one later in the season.

You really think they won't give the Punisher his classic skull outfit? As others have said, what we've seen is just the beginning. The Punisher, like Matt in season 1, is just starting, he has to discover his identify as the Punisher, you build up to this sort of thing.

Shame the costume isnt a little better, after seeing Doctor Strange yesterday its a bit disappointing this isn't at the same level. However the costume wont stop this being great, it didnt hold back the first season so this wont either and maybe even a change of outfit at some point too anyway.
