I think they'd learn from their mistakes. Plus unlike Daredevil, Iron Fist's costume is not a piece of armor, so I doubt it requires extensive fitting and screentests like that.

Only thing that has me slightly worried is how they'll pull of Iron Fist's headpiece, because unlike Daredevil's black suit, Iron Fist has eyes on his.

You would think but it's an aspect of the material these shows tend to play down as well. We have no idea what they are doing with the costume, so who knows what it would require.

I feel like they'll go for an Ultimate Iron Fist and 616 Iron Fist hybrid. Have the mask/head wrap as a nod to his costume early on and then go without it once he's in a uniform. Though I'm hoping that's not the case.

I posted in a thread asking about our favorite characters in the MCU, I did not list Matt Murdock as one of them, it made me think of something I did not give much thought to before today:
Two seasons in, and the main protagonist is not my favorite character in the series.
I prefer the two Franks (Nelson and Castle), Karen Page, Ben Urich, Claire Temple, Vanessa, and the editor of the New York Bulletin, whose name I forgot.

Huh, I find that to be ... interesting. Do you know why? Matt Murdock is not only my favourite character in MCU, he's my favourite character compared to any movie or TV show. I still prefer the comic version, but just a little, and the netflix version is getting closer. Do you like Matt Murdock in the comics?

Been a fan of Matt Murdock ever since I saw Trial of the Incredible Hulk on Betamax, I enjoyed the character in comics for so long, I'm still a fan.

Haha, I had that one on VHS when I was growing up. That and Daredevil's appearance in Spider-Man's animated series made me a fan. He looked so cool in that.

Do you not particularly like the netflix version of Matt Murdock then? I find him to be very close to the comics.

I like him well enough, it's just that in this show I like these other characters more.
Except for Ben, I always liked Ben more than Matt.

I can understand that, the other characters in the show are also well written. Yeah, I really loved Ben here, and I really loved his part in Born Again, so it's too bad that we're never gonna see that. Maybe Ellison, the editor you liked, could take his place if they ever did their version of Born Again.

Killing Ben is the thing I really hate about this show.
I'd love to see more of Ellison, if they don't choose to make Karen take the place of Ben on this one.

I liked that they killed Ben, and hated it at the same time. I get why they did it, and I think they have a point. They killed Ben to shock the audience who knows the comics. I never thought that they would kill Ben Urich so soon, considering his history in the comics, which made the death even more impactful for me. When Fisk attacked Ben, I thought that Daredevil would come crashing in in the last second, saving Ben. When that didn't happen ... But I also hated it because I loved the character, the actor was terrific and I loved the part Ben played in Born Again. I do like Ellison, and would also like to see more of him.

I think we're likely to get this in the 13th episode after waiting all season for anything remotely like a costume. They already have Iron Fist's mask from the black wrap that DD wore in season 1, but they probably won't use that.
