Because Disney doesn't care about discs. Last Netflix season released on Blu-ray in US was Luke Cage season 1. Iron Fist was released in a few countries but not here. But yeah, they ain't coming
Ugh. Thats such easy money right there though man. Daredevil especially i think would sell really well on blu ray.
With streaming bigger than ever and physical media declining, we'd be lucky if we got the Disney+ Marvel shows on disc at this point, much less the remaining Netflix shows that have yet to see a disc release. I assume the first two seasons of DD sold well enough on disc, but that was 4-5 years ago when more people were still buying DVDs and Blu-rays. Maybe they canned the rest of the Marvel shows on disc because they weren't selling that well as a whole including Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Realistically, most people wouldn't buy a season of a show for $30+ when they can just subscribe for $9-$14 (depending on the plan) to have access to that show plus so much more.
If a show is popular enough, they'll put it out on disc. They did a great job with the Stranger Things releases in the VHS packaging even though they haven't released season 3 on disc yet but I assume they're waiting until season 4 premieres.I suspect Netflix also doesn't like releasing these on physical media because you could theoretically unsubscribe after you get it.
