I expected him to be costume-less for Season 3 and then by the last 15 minutes of episode 13 he gets his proto costume or Jessica Jones's scarf to wear on his head.

That wouldn't surprise me if that happened

You know ... there is a costume thread already, if people want to repeat the same thing over and over again ... Just saying Anyhoo, I love the nod to Born Again with a broken down Matt in his white tank top hitting the punching bag.

Total Film has a new article out with some extra pictures, including one of Matt and Karen, and another of Matt sparring with someone in the convent.

Because October is going to be full for me, me, my brother and my best friend started our re-watch of Daredevil last Friday. We are on episode 7 of season 2. God do I love this show. It has been so long, I almost forgot how much.

I really enjoyed season 2 and The Punisher stuff was the most interesting thing in the season. It was just that I didn't care for Elektra or any of her story in Season 2. The Hand are still a boring secret organisation for me.

The Daredevil Punisher interactions are my favourite part of the whole Netflix universe.

I really enjoyed season 2 and The Punisher stuff was the most interesting thing in the season. It was just that I didn't care for Elektra or any of her story in Season 2. The Hand are still a boring secret organisation for me.

The Defenders was really the nail in the coffin for Elektra, given how it kinda made Matt a dumber character by proxy.

The Daredevil Punisher interactions are my favourite part of the whole Netflix universe.

It's some of my favorite stuff as well, but that was only what half the season was about. The Hand plot line was far less engaging. But in season 1, I got a whole 13 episode season about Matt vs Fisk in this great rivalry. That's why season 1 is superior to me. I love season 2 as well, don't get me wrong. But season 1 is still the gold standard of Netflix Marvel.

Yeah, personally, I loved the Season 2 Matt/Elektra stuff, but the Hand was underdeveloped
Then in Defenders the Hand was awful and totally ruined Elektra

I certainly wouldn't debate against that. As an overall season DDS1 was great and consistent throughout, and one of the only seasons of any of the shows that sustained a great start all the way through. But for a mini-arc the Punisher interactions of S2 were my favourite.

I agree that Netflix annoys me with their resistance to their characters wearing costumes. Jessica and Luke makes sense not wearing a costume, but DD wouldn't have been so out of place if Danny wasn't wearing his outfit too.

I'm looking forward to Fisk vs Daredevil again as I really enjoyed their dynamic in season one.

Watching them again, it is interesting. Matt vs. Fisk isn't really a thing. If anything, Matt and Fisk spend the vast majority of season 1 avoiding each other, only coming together for very specific moments. Which are great, outside of arguably their final confrontation. As that is just so... goofy.

For me, my favorite Matt vs. Fisk moment comes in season 2. That conversation in prison It is the most intense, most legitimately dangerous moment imo. We left off on episode 10 last night, so we are doing the last 3 tonight. I do feel like the Hand parts can be a bit lightweight in comparison, but I adore Elektra and her relationship with Matt. For me, the biggest advantage season 1 has over 2 is Fisk and Wesley. They are so fantastic. But I'd still take Frank and Elektra over them, along with season 2 just having more really good episodes. I'd also take the weakest episodes of season 2 over season's 1, though that is a lot closer.

I do think that season 1 starts out slower is an advantage for it. Season 2 starts out with arguably the best thing the Netflix shows have done, that it slows down was probably always going to be an issue. Though I rather love a lot of the material.
