Anyhow, the way I'd make this film would be that I'd make it a lot darker than the previous version. I'd also make the film have a solid R-rating to make it feel darker.

Well...as long as they know how to translate those ideas into something that works as a narrative film...

For instance, MSJ is a fan of comics...just as Guillermo Del Toro is a fan of comics...

I don't know about Ryan. He's a good actor, but I can't picture him as DD. Yeah, MCD should remain Kingpin, but then the film has to be related to Mark's DD.

If I was director I would go with Jensen Ackles as DD. I've been watching Supernatural, for sometime, and I could really see him as DD. Sure, not Stan Lee's DD, but Frank's DD. But I would want the movie to be a mixture of both great source material. And the tone would be something like Batman Begins, but not entirely. I also like the idea of Matt Damon as DD.

Looking at Ackles age I don't see why Morena Baccarin or Eliza Dushku wouldn't make good Elektras.

pretty good cast I feel as if your cast is a lot younger than the one that was already used. but good none the less. Everone keeps casting bullseye , i wouldn't want to see him again.

He's kind of his nemesis though so I couldn't help myself. I'm personally in favor of Robert Knepper and Eliza Dushku by the way but Knepper would also make for a great Purpleman while McDonough would be a pretty cool Tombstone (thinking of guys they can play besides Bullseye because I absolutely WANT these guys in comic book movies).

Now Gladiator just HAS to be Vin Diesel. Looking at the way that guy is drawn I'm always thinking "Did he...did he just put a mustache on Vin Diesel?"

Yeah, it was 2003. At first I thought it was 2002 then I thought 2004 but then I remembered seeing a preview for it on the X-Men 1.5 DVD. Which came out around 2002-2003 I guess.

I hope that they call it Daredevil: The Man Without Fear if they do that though because if they just go and put down as the title: The Man Without Fear; then it would sound like a ripoff of the title of The Dark Knight(which the sequel to Superman Returns is no doubt gonna do by calling itself: The Man of Steel). But, if they call it The Man Without Fear that's fine by me because at least they can simply just add numerical codes at the end of the title for upcoming sequels.

I get the impression that if we see a sequel or reboot then it will be straight to DVD, which I honestly wouldn't have problem with because it would force them to STOP overusing the goddamn CGI and go practical like they should have in the first place. Daredevil should have had Yuen Wo Ping doing the fights in the first place. Now there's a guy that deserves to use wire-fu.
