The only person I want to see as Daredevil is Matthew Fox. He's got the acting chops and the look.

Stephen McHattie for Stick - (he played Hollis Mason in Watchmen):

I like your idea for Jason Statham as Bullseye. I could see him being a psycho like that lol.

Matthew Fox could pull off DD/Matt. I've always wanted to see him play a hero, and after Speed Racer, he doesn't look half bad in a costume.

One more, I'd like to add, is maybe Patrick Wilson for DD. He's a good actor, and I can totally see him pulling Matt off. He even looks like a lawyer type.:woot:

I'm sorry, but after this weekend, Megan Fox should be banned from CBM fan casts!

I don't care how hot she is! Until she wins an Academy Awards, she is not to be recommended for any more comic book roles!

Who is with me?

Ugh... I really hate almost every reboot because it seems to be Hollywoods answer to EVERYTHING.

Ok, I am going to get flamed for this I know, but I honestly REALLY LIKED Daredevil 2003 and the Directors Cut is even better. I think that DD DC is the best pre Dark Knight superhero movie and the director gets way more hate then deserved. Ben Affleck was an absolutely fantastic Matt Murdock. Maybe not the best Daredevil but he pulled it off, and he pulled it off well. I greatly liked seeing him in the roll of my favorite comic book character. The films dark and gritty overtones were captured very very well IMO and it deserved a sequel. It would have just been even better.

Also Colin Farrell was/will be the best Bullseye actor ever. Even if he was altered, it still worked for the film.

I generally hate Reboots as well for making people forget about perfectly good/great films. I loved Punisher 2004 for instance and despise War Zone.

i enjoy watching War zone for the violence to be honest, but 04 is the better Punisher flick, i also enjoy Daredevil, but we are getting a reboot, and im looking forward to just another DD movie

Honestly, I didn't think that the Daredevil movie was that bad. The Elektra spin off wasn't too great, but Daredevil by istelf had a solid storyline and plently of action. If they do make a sequel I wouldn't mind seeing the return of the Kingpin & Bullseye and maybe introducing The Chameleon to the fray to fight Daredevil.

The director's Cut is among my Favorite CBMs.But it's been 7 years. My hope is Fox loses the rights and they revert back to Marvel and Marvel Studios gets a chance to make a DD movie.Anyways the way things are looking the earliest we'd be getting a Daredevil movie is 2013/2014 and by that time it be 10 years since the last film. There was only 8 between Batman and Robin and Batman Begins.

I too hope the rights revert back, but rather than another movie, I think DD would benefit more from a TV series. Not just a fun superhero romp like "Smallville", but a dark and gritty legal drama/crimefighting saga like something you'd see on FX or AMC. Rather than trying to cram all the cool bits into a 2-hour film, they could let the best elements from Miller, Bendis and Brubaker play out in a stretch, let them breathe and develop slowly over the course of a season.

On film, even if it's awesome, it would still seem like TDK-lite. But if they do a TV show right, DD could be "The Wire" of superhero shows, the one that every comic book show that comes after tries to live up to.

I completely agree. Daredevil, even the non Directors Cut version, was pretty good. I loved its depiction of Daredevils origin and senses and the acting was great. Which made me thrilled when the DC was released and it made the film the best pre Dark Knight Superhero film IMO
