Days of Future Past Days of Future Past SPOILERS! (You have been warned!) - Part 3

Don´t know where to post this, but here it goes...

I only saw the movie once (but intend do watch it again soon), but when i was waiting for that post credit scene (endless wait), before watching it, i was kinda distracted while talking with a couple of friends, and was i looked again, I could swear that I saw something related to "Stark Trek" there...

Did anyone else noticed that on the credits scene? (never been a fan os Star Trek, that´s why...) Or was i still in shock for the greatest movie ever? :whatever:

The scene where Hank, Wolvie and Charles are in that room with the tech stuff at the mansion, (where he says he can get the channels he mentions, I forget the reasoning) anyway on the television they were playing an episode of the original Star Trek show. So most likely in the credits, it was to that.

oh.. didn´t noticed that.. Thanks:yay:

One thing that bothers me if I let it: how the hell did Magneto control those sentinels? It's not like infusing metal into them is enough, because if that was the case, he would've had to concentrate on them all the time for the sheer amount of functions those robots have. They just behaved like they were reprogrammed, but then again they weren't.

They were reprogrammed by Magneto. Remember the scene where he is stitching his head, he was studying the blue print for the Sentinels.

one thing I'm wondering, when future Wolverine was having the Stryker flashback and flailing about when he slashed Kitty, how come Magneto didn't just use his powers to restrain him?

So...he became a damn robotics expert overnight? Okay, I can...surprisingly well go with that. Yeah, I remember that scene now. Cool, thanks! I was pretty tired watching it, who knows what else I've forgotten.

Me too. But I don't remember if he was in the vicinity at the time. Then again if he was, it just took him by surprise.

He did after slashing Kitty, getting old and slow to react I guess.

oh, so he did restrain Wolvie with his powers then??

guess I missed that then.

Yeah I think it was that scene but sort of just a couple seconds after he slashes out at Kitty.

So many things I missed or forgot, because so much stuff is happening at a tremendous pace. And for once, that's a good thing.

Yes, Blink was great. I didn't like Sunspot flying, but I can get over that short stint. It was absolutely wonderful how the future Sentinels were an unstoppable force. It was clear they can't be fought off. Even if some of my faves (Colossus) got murdered easily like a useless punk (2 times), it just made the damn sentinels more scary. And I love that.

yeah.....the Future Sentinels were scary in just how efficient and unstoppable they were.

Anyone spotted Chris Claremont and Len Wein make cameos as congressmen at the briefing with Trask at the beginning? I recognized Claremont from pictures of him in Wizard magazine but I stayed after the credits and yep they were listed.

Didn't spot Stan Lee thought and he wasn't listed in the credits, did he make a cameo

Whats the matter with Sunspot flying? I dont really know this character so please ignore my ignorance. Does he not in the comics?

Blink and Warpath were great and I loved how Blink combined with both him and Colossus.

Yeah even though you dont like seeing your faves getting destroyed (poor Iceman, they turned him into mutant slush puppy!) it showed that they were desperate enough to warrant trying sending someone back in time.

what exactly was Warpath's power?

super senses??

Seemed like it, at one point he was all Legolas counting sentinels from a rooftop.

Yeah can sense things from way off, also super strength and agility. (also a master at getting his face burnt off:hehe:)

This was a very young version though, didnt seem like he was fully adult and mastered his abilities yet.

I don't know, I didn't read the comics anymore when Sunspot was around, but I just personally dislike flying people. For me, it takes something off from the experience. Just a personal preference, certainly not a fault in the movie. It was so much like the human torch. I can get over it, just a little pet peeve of mine.

I don't get the issue as he's been flying in the books since the mid 90s.

ah, I see. thanks.

Ah ok fair enough.

Yeah, it was right after he slashed Kitty. That happened so fast no one had time to stop it - Kitty was yelling that she was losing him and everyone had their attention on her - but when he started flailing around again Magneto pinned him down.

Caught that the second time I saw it,
