DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 1

Well, Jason's is shared with his team. He's the only Bat-Kid not to get in his name in a book though. (Dick-Nightwing, Jason-Red Hood and the Outlaws, Damian-Batman and Robin)

Plus, I see Red Hood as one of the ones that will probably get canned pretty quick- along with Batwing and a few of the supernatural books- so it'll even out in the end.

The books they announced yesterday all have CANCELLATION BAIT practically stamped on their forehead's but at least DC tried to put some top flight talent on them.

Hawk and Dove looks like an April Fool's joke as do the Teen Titans' costumes. Todays announcements don't really feel structured like the past three have with each being a group of titles that fit together thematically or under a particular banner, this just feels haphazard.

Well, with 52 new books coming out there were bound to be some really bad ones. At least the Legion ones look alright and Static Shock doesn't look terrible either. Teen Titans is probably the worst looking book to get announced so far, even though I really like Kid Flash's new look. And Liefeld, really? Hawk and Dove will be the first book to get cancelled.

i appreciate the diversity and chances DC is trying to take with the selection of new titles. but its not gonna work. they're gonna get cancelled. DC needs to realize what ideas would work better as a mini-series or graphic novel. to commit them to an on going series is just going to make the company look stupid when they have to cancel them all.

I wish Nicola Scott was still on TT. But so sad at how low TT has gotten in the last couple of years...once one of DCs biggest books, now just plagued with horror.

someone on the bleeding cool forums brought up a good point. if they're re-introducing superboy as a new character, that means they've taken the death of superman out of continuity, which was the building blocks for so much of green lantern, which ISNT having its continuity affected....

also, it seems tim was never Robin....balls to that!

The Legion one's don't look bad but I've never really followed them and neither title really makes me want to start now.

And my money's on Batwing or one of the supernatural books (I, Vampire, Voodoo and Resurrection Man are all prime candidates) to get cancelled first but Hawk and Dove will be a close second. But that changes if Liefeld is still as delayed prone as he used to be. In that case I say 2 issues make it to print over six months and then DC doesn't even bother to announce its cancelled cause nobody will care.

Oh my God, these look goddamned awful. The only one that looks okay is Wonder Girls, but even that looks....wow. I really don't know what to think of this.

Anyone knows what's going to happen to Batman: The Dark Knight? I just read #1 and there's the Penguin reveal at the end and I'm like thinking wow, this is going to be an epic series. I believe it's still stuck at #2 now?

It's getting relaunched at #1 like everything else.
