DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 10

There are still some good ones though Spoons

I be loving The Movement right now I'm looking forward to getting the new issue of that this week

So hope that Virtue and Rainmaker shall be getting together like Simone is hinting they will they would make a fab couple :atp:

I'm going to be missing Demon Knights after this month though

DC why do you take my fun fantasy superhero comic away :csad:

I'm loving the Flash right now Spoons, they are doing a lot I like in that book.

I'm finding The Flash pretty enjoyable as well :)

I hope we'll be seeing more of Piper and the Rogues in future stories

I really like the new 52 version of Golden Glider especially :)

I don't know if you guys are reading Li'l Gotham (if not, you should), but in the most recent issue there was this great little reference to reboots, and the way to handle them:

Probably for the best, considering what a snooze-feast most DC books and especially Flash have been lately.
I do think that a lot of DC books lost a lot momentum, particularly in the Bat-books department, but I am still enjoying the hell out of books like Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Swamp Thing, and Aquaman. And the Flash is freaking awesome :cmad:

li'l gotham is good but we lost track of it and don't remember where we fell off the wagon

our enthusiasm for the batbooks is pretty much gone with morrison

but we're still enjoying detective, batman 66, and ummmm actually that might be it

also loving flash, wonder woman, aquaman, batman/superman, the green lantern line, and the superman line A LITTLE BIT. probably more when our the pak gets on action.

still have to get through rotworld so i can see what swamp thing is like after snyder left

^________^

Idk what happened after DoTF but you're right about the Bat-books taking a nose-dive. Aquaman and Wonder Woman are still good. I dropped Animal Man and Swamp Thing after that Rotworld business that went on a little too long.

Swamp Thing picked up significantly after Snyder's run. Charles Soule has been doing a pretty solid job actually developing the character. Though I do worry about the fate of the book. With the exception of Swamp Thing Vol. 2(which includes the Alan Moore run), no volume of Swamp Thing has ever surpassed 30 issues, let alone hit issue #30.

This new volume started strong, took a downward spiral, and is now working it's way back up, but not many people seem to be taking notice, mainly it seems because many of them picked up the book not as ST fans, but as Snyder fans. And then jumped ship when he left.

Oh Soule's writing? He's doing a great job over on the Red Lantern book. Perhaps I'll give Dr.Holland another go

Aquaman's the most consistently good DC book in my opinion. And I don't really get the Batman nose drive thing. He's had a couple disappointing issues, but I'm still enjoying it just fine. He's no different than other titles that have some ups and downs (Phantom Stranger, Batwoman) but mostly ups.

What do you think of the new version of Reverse Flash, hunter of hippies? :)

Every single Bat-book is boring me to tears now that DoTF has wrapped. The only one I still read and really enjoy is Red Hood & The Outlaws and that's probably b/c it doesn't have much to do w/ Batman. Have I mentioned I don't care for Batman? :o

I am digging him

And I'm curious to see where this story line shall lead...

The main Batman book and Batman & Robin have been great, but the rest of the books in the line from Birds of Prey, Nightwing, Batgirl, and others have just lost so much steam overall.

Detective Comics is getting better and better after each issue and since i hate Year Zero it's my main Batman book right now.

btw : I am loving Justice League Dark and i'm sensing the greatness coming in Constantine after the conclusion of Trinity War.

The Batman book has been quite good......The Owls......and now Year Zero, has me hooked.

You leave Nightwing out of this! :argh:

Naw man, Nightwing is good, been good for a minute. My most dissapointing book still is Superboy, I'm dreading each issue. They haven't answered much about that character in this new universe so it seems like little has happened.

Batwoman and Batgirl are the Bat-books I'm enjoying most of all right now and buying each month

And Detective Comics and Batwing have been pretty good as well

Year Zero has also been alright I'm digging the fact the Riddler is getting to play a role in that

I'm still enjoying Batman, and while Nightwing's lost some steam since the DotF tie-in, I'm still enjoying it. Batwoman lost a LOT of steam for a while, but it's been fantastic the past 4 or 5 issues. I also like Talon, though it's one of my least favorite books and might be dropped. I'm not sure.

I keep hearing good things about Detective. If I can drop another title for it, I should probably give it a shot. What's the best starting point for the title?
