- DC will not renumber Detective Comics or Action Comics once they reach their anniversary issues.

- Each title is guaranteed six issues.

- Not all the redesigns of character are final. Here's to hoping that DC has some common sense and restore Superman's costume.

has this been confirmed?

is there still hope Kara will get some pants? lol

For anyone who legitimately believes this, I also have a fine bridge to sell them on the moon. Very fine price, very good position.

I want to buy this moon bridge of yours Tron Bonne but i only have ten thousand space dollars

Is that enough

Uhhh... can't we have a little romance first? Yeesh. Just like a woman. No foreplay and right to the climax.

Yeeesh.

:o

:ff: :ff: :ff:

I just want them to be a couple again. I loved those two together :csad:

I hope Cornell has Apollo and Midnighter hook up with each other again as soon as possible

This is excellent for me if true. I'll no longer feel any obligations to Action, Detective, Superman and Batman and I already cut Marvel since they killed Bucky again in the lamest way imaginable. Soon I can drop all DC titles after this reboot sucks and concentrate on fixing the holes in my sets from 94-04 when I quit the first time. Then I can just buy reprints and such.

At least I'll get 6 issues of Hawkman out of this mess.

so.......wait..........DC already has plans in case the relaunch fails?

so........we could have a relaunch of the relaunch?

Doesn't sound like they have a plan of any sort, to be honest. 6 whole issues for books to catch on...it's like Martin Goodman with the Hulk all over again.

Tronn I'm also very interested in that bridge, what is the starting bid?

I only take payments in strawberries and vanilla scented trash bags (that are unused of course).

I have half a million vanilla scented trash bags, but how about cherries? You take cherries?

We use those vanilla trash bags a work. My boss thinks I'm a freak because I sniff the hell out of them every time I take out the trash.

I grow strawberries

Looks like I'm going to own a bridge on the moon after today  I shall use it to walk to and frim the moon palace I bought from Queen Serenity

I want more of this.

Call me optimistic but even though im not a fan of the costumes, im starting to think this will work and be good. Im drinking the kool-aid cause I think DC is gonna gain a big chunk of readers.

is it just me, but everytime these comic companies promise "big changes," it usually falls flat.

like when they try to alter the status quo, it invariably comes back to bite them on the a**.

as a relative comic book "outsider," I kind of view these events and shake my head. to me, all these big changes just make everything more confusing........

What you didn't think "Brand New Day" was the greatest thing ever.

Personally I think there should be a law that they can only do a major relaunch every 10 years or so.

Well for Jesus sake you cant stay the same. That **** gets boring. I like that DC is doing this because it gives chance of bringing new readers and being able to tell great stories. Plus not writing for the trade anymore is gonna be great for me as a person who reads monthly. While I really like Grant's Batman run, it to me symbolizes everything that is wrong with comics today. Writing for trade, **** that no one understands even if you do some research. Also the thing about research is this. If I never watch Batman Begins I could have still watch TDK and enjoyed it. Good writers should be able to make stories that anybody could read and understand but the guys like us would have a better understanding and a more enjoyable time reading it.

Reading Grant Morrison is a lot easier if you've either a) opened your mind to LSD, Acid or some other form of a hallucinagen or b) sitting with that one page DRZ knows that basically tells you what every little detail fo every little thign is.

Option a is better.
