LOL. Marvel wouldn't lead the industry forever. they've had a good 10 years, but it doesn't mean DC would never catch up.
Actually it's been like a good 25 years but whatever.
I'll pretend that this is something I wanted to show up in the relaunch and not that I accidentally posted it in the wrong thread.

looks like there will be a protest at comic con about this
And I'm sure everyone attending will raise an eyebrow at the 3 people who would actually take the time out of their day to do that.
actually the facebook page is showing 150 people....but im sure people will look at them as uber nerds...and not in a good way

They'll have one good month. Maybe two.
I dunno, I do think that DC will actually start to top Marvel in 2012. DC has filled their top tier books (Justice League, Batman, Superman, Action Comics, and Green Lantern) with top notch talent that will be guaranteed top 10 sellers. And unlike the past in which DC's middle tier (and even some of their top tier) books have languished, DC is also trying to get high end talent to fill in the gaps with Gail Simone and Ethan van Sciver on Firestorm, Geoff Johns on Aquaman, Brian Azzarello on Wonder Woman, Dan Jurgens on Justice League International, Gail Simone of Batgirl, Kyle Higgins on Nightwing, the various Green Lantern books, Scott Snyder on Swamp Thing, etc. It looks like DC is trying to look at the core root of why their middle tier books have been languishing and are indeed trying to fix it.
I think that current readers are going to be attracted to those creative teams and those books are going to benefit from them.
