Some great comic books out this week

Batwoman was amazing you should all be buying this series it is just absolutely incredible. Fab artwork, great writing and a great main character. I just finished reading it and I cannot wait for the next issue

Demon Knights was fab great visuals and an interesting set up for these characters both new and old. Vandal Savage is like a crazy medieval Brian Blessed and the new characters were pretty neat. And Madame Xanadu is

Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E was just crazy amounts of fun. If you've ever wanted to see a Frankenstein's monster lead a mummy, a werewolf and the creature from the Black Lagoon into battle into an army of monsters you should read this book. And if you don't want to see that why the heck not

Bit of a continuity flub in Batwoman there. Flamebird talking about being a Teen Titan. Which she can't be if they're just coming together now.

I just read Green Lantern 1 with not prior knowledge of the characters (i read Secret origin and saw the movie, also know some things from wikipedia) and am now reading Batman and Robin 1, i kinda liked Green Lantern 1, but like with most comics the story will probably look better on paperback

I just recently decided to get back into getting the monthly titles. I read some good things about Batman #1... I don't know if its out yet, simply says September.

The rest of the issue was a nice setup for what's to come. Benes' art is terrific too.

I guess without revealing too much, can you say if the Teen Titans by George Perez and Marv Wolfman will still be in continuity? Or will the Teen Titans sort of be rebooted all together?

Ok well good to know that the original TT still happened.

Superboy was ok, though I already miss original Rose/Ravager and all her problems. Though I dont know how Conner can still be part of Death of Superman unless this takes place before that happens which it cant unless TT takes place before that happens. Or if they just released him to go fight off Doomsday and had him come straight back.

Suicide Squad wasnt bad either, they killed off Savant quickly and dont know how to feel with them making Amanda Waller sexy and attractive as opposed to her old short plump usual self.

Which begs the question, did all the TT stuff happen within a 5 year period, it happened, but outside of the public eye (Which is impossible for a lot of these stories.) or it is simply that most of it is out except for the important stuff.


They woulda been better off starting from scratch.

today i got batman, batman and robin, and green lantern. all were good, batwoman was my faves.

I picked up Batwoman, Batman and Robin, Superboy, and Resurrection Man, and I enjoyed every single one of them.

Resurrection Man is someone I've never read a single issue of before, but I picked it up because it's written by DnA. It's setting up what seems to be a pretty cool story-- Heaven and Hell fighting to gain the soul of a person who can't die. The art was a bit suspect at times, though.

Superboy they're keeping the broad strokes of his origin the same, with some detail tweaks. I don't think they ever said it in the issue, but if he's being grown in N.O.W.H.E.R.E. like the solicits said instead of Cadmus, I'd like to see an underground war between the two organizations.

Which leads to the question of was it shoved into 5 years, happened during that vague amount of time that Bat's and GL were active before Supes showed up, or just the important stuff happened and everything else is gone.

It was absolutely fabulous

I adored the first issue of this series. Though Etrigan not rhyming made me a little bit I still loved how he was written and I loved the scenes at the tavern
